It was such a wonderful evening, filled with great conversations and so many connections being made between us all. We were truly inspired by hearing everyone’s unique journeys into procurement and loved learning about how we can support each other in achieving our individual goals. With that in mind - stay tuned for an exciting announcement coming from us very soon! Looking forward to meeting even more of you in 2025!

Today marks International Men’s Day 2024. It is an annual observance that highlights the importance of recognising and addressing the challenges and experiences of men. It encourages conversations about men’s mental health, positive masculinity, and gender equality. Black Men’s Mental Health is a struggle often fought alone due to due to pre-existing prejudices and customs in our community. Men are often expected to show robust and resilient behaviours at all times, but we know that men need support too. Supply Chain and Procurement is a stressful role, often requiring competing priorities, challenging stakeholders, and a dynamic external environment. When coupled with mental health challenges, this then becomes all the more difficult. At Black in Procurement, we’d like to share a number of resources that are well placed to support you. We would encourage you to take a look at the following: https://lnkd.in/d64QCHk - Black Minds Matter https://www.mind.org.uk/ - Mind https://blamuk.org/ - Black Learning Achievement and Mental Health
