Congratulations to Yi Wei, our Constant Lambert Conducting Fellow, who was last week awarded an Associate Membership by the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM)! RNCM Principal Prof. Linda Merrick CBE said ‘This prestigious award is made available to recent alumni of the RNCM judged to have achieved outstanding success in the early stages of their careers in the music profession’. Birmingham Royal Ballet is devastated to announce the death of CEO Caroline Miller OBE. Caroline passed away in the early hours of 15th December after a long illness. It is with sadness that we announce today that our CEO Caroline Miller will be stepping down from her role due to ill health. Caroline Miller OBE will officially leave BRB on 4 April 2025. The BRB board has announced today that Paul James, currently deputy CEO, will be appointed as acting CEO with immediate effect and that a full recruitment process for a new permanent CEO will begin early in the New Year. We are looking for a Stage Technician! The Stage Technician’s role is to assist and deputise, as required, for the Deputy Head of Stage / Head of Stage in the smooth running of the Stage department.
