Wrapped up this morning and travelled into London for an exciting catch up with Paul Henry and Rob MacIntosh from London Ambulance Service NHS Trust Today I will be presenting to their team on how they can use the RealWear technology to support their workshops and amazing team. Just sending headsets out is simply not an option! Myself and the team at Autotech Connect are passionate about making sure that our solutions are explained in detail, all users are aware of the features and benefits and that we leave knowing that the solutions we promote will not just end up in the drawer of regret! Yesterday, myself and Todi Omotoso spent the day with Jo Fenwick AAE MIMI and his amazing team at the The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) We were there to roll out stage two of the exciting project where they will be using the RealWear devices and Wideum software solutions to allow them to oversee assessments remotely. Enabling them to carry out more frequent assessments whilst drastically reducing travel and hotel costs. Its a pleasure working with such an engaged team of people and listening to their ideas on how they can improve their current processes by using different technology. I was delighted to have been invited by David Nichols MIMI and HALFORDS AUTOCENTRES LIMITED to attend their apprentice and technician graduation event. It was great to see so many young, talented apprentices coming through the program and getting the recognition they deserve. Also have to mention the new T4 technicians that were there to receive recognition for their outstanding achievements.  Great to see Halford’s investing in these guys and improving the skill set across the business. Special mention to Nathan Frost who has been instrumental in trialling the RealWear and Wideum software solutions supported by us at Autotech Connect and Autotech Group We have loved trialling different solutions such as remote guidance, remote quality inspections and guided workflows based on some of your current processes. Autotech Training and Autotech Connect are delighted to be here in Saudi Arabia on behalf of Petromin Corporation carrying out level 3 EV training to some of their customers. Fantastic facility, equipment and support from the Petromin team. They are really leading the way and driving forward with all things EV. Whilst we were here it was great to demonstrate the RealWear technology and Wideum software to showcase the ability to remotely, assess the assessor. Great end to my week last week with a visit to eStar Mercedes Van in Knowsley, as they become part of the trial using the RealWear headset solution in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz Vans. Huge thanks to Mike Doyle, Dave Brighouse and the team for their warm welcome and for showcasing their impressive location. Myself and Alyshia Olson were on-site, providing support and guidance to ensure the technology is implemented effectively. We also explored additional benefits such as remote audits and parts inspections. We can't wait to see the outcomes of this trial and support the sites in maximising the technology's potential. This innovative trial aims to understand how Mercedes-Benz Vans can enhance efficiency across its network through technology integration - technical specialists resolve cases remotely to minimise potential downtime and reduce complex repair times.
