Before and ✨ after ✨ Bolt Burdon Kemp is a leading firm of solicitors for serious injury claims. We improve their WordPress site iteratively through our Always Evolving® model, and we recently worked on a complete overhaul on the header area of the site. The previous navigation meant sub-pages were lost in the website and hard to navigate to. We designed and developed the new navigation to improve both user experience and SEO visibility with more internal links. The result: – Now all links show at the top level, none are hidden behind additional clicks – Icons used on mobile are now visible on desktop, for more consistency – Direct links to ‘success stories’ and ‘meet the team’ for each practice area remain in place Nice work, team! 👏

This is Duncan Shotton. He’s full of bright ideas in his role as Head of Always Evolving® at Atomic Smash | B Corp, and beyond. What was one of those bright ideas outside of his day-to-day, you ask? Relaunching Pecha Kucha Bristol after its 4-year hiatus. PKN events are all about punchy presentations around creativity, with the strict format of 20 slides x 20 seconds each, and the event catapulted back into the city last week thanks to Duncan. Each event centres on a theme, and this one was happiness. Interested? You can watch back the recordings here: https://lnkd.in/epzWu5Pd 8 speakers, 20 sponsors, more than 100 attendees, but only one Duncan Shotton. A huge success, deserving a big (virtual) round of applause! 👏

Making space for digital debates! ⬇️ Physics World Live is a series of online panel debates where Physics World editors talk to leading scientists about hot topics in physics. In each of these hour-long events, online attendees can put questions to panellists in a live Q&A. We produced a modern and fresh design for this section of the website, and gave the Physics World team full control over managing the content with: – Various text fields – Functionality to display sponsors for each of the events – Different call-to-action options for registering interest versus registering for the event 👏

A big shout out to Steve Brett, our Solutions Architect, who celebrated 5 years at Atomic Smash this week. Steve has worked through various roles with us starting as a Support Developer, then WordPress Developer, and now Solutions Architect. He helps us solve complex challenges, and we also rely on him for a regular dose of epic harmonies via his Sacred Harp performance videos too.
