Since 2023, ASCO has been leading a multi-million-pound fleet upgrade programme across the UK. As part of this initiative, we’re proud to share that our HGV trucks, forklifts, and cranes operating on our quaysides are now fully powered by HVO renewable fuel. This switch is making a significant impact—cutting our Scope 1 emissions by 46%, saving over 3,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually, and directly reducing Scope 3 emissions for our clients. Our investment continues: - Earlier this year, we welcomed 18 new forklift trucks at our bases in Peterhead, Aberdeen, and Great Yarmouth. - In Aberdeen, our team was thrilled to receive two new cranes—one relocated from one of our bases Norway and assembled on the quayside, and the other, a state-of-the-art Liebherr crane delivered from Sunderland. These upgrades reflect our ongoing commitment to investing in sustainable operations and ensuring we deliver service excellence to our clients. Movember is over for another year, and we wanted to thank all of you who took part! Here's what our moustachioed colleagues got up to! Alan Milne, HSSEQ Field Advisor / T&C Specialist - Canada On top of growing a mo' over 30 days, Alan also ran an impressive 164km throughout November, raising $195! This is Alan's fifth year taking part, showing his dedication to the cause. He also took part in the Oil Rig Rumble - Speak Easy, engaging with his colleagues to discuss mental health in the workplace. Jamie Kennedy, Business Architect - UK, decided to ditch the razors this November, growing not just a moustache, but a beard too, raising £108 for Movember. He's now ready to take on the cold December weather in Scotland! Our colleagues in Darwin, Australia, took advantage of the fantastic weather and hosted their annual Movember BBQ with staff, clients and port stakeholders. There was a fantastic turnout, raising an impressive $1,256! Well done to everyone who took part in or donated to Movember. It's so important to raise awareness and support key men's health issues! #TeamASCO #Movember
