Updates

  • ⚠️ Water authorities are set to introduce changes to the infrastructure charging structure from March 2025, which could significantly impact both existing and future developments. ➡️ Infrastructure charges are imposed to handle the extra burden that new connections impose on water supply and sewerage systems. The changes are being introduced with the aim of creating a more sustainable, transparent water sector which can meet current and future demands. ➡️ We’re working closely with our customers to discuss their options and plan for the impact of the changes. Our useful guide explains more about the changes, visit:🔗https://lnkd.in/etjEkWZN 📞 If you have any queries, get in touch with our team on 01204 325 000 or contact us at 📧 https://lnkd.in/eAebaVKa #water #infrastructurecharges #waterindustry #developers #utilitypartner

  • 🦺🚨 Safety Stand Down is one of the most significant events in the Aptus calendar, taking place annually in the first week of January. This year we reinforced essential health and safety messages while updating our team on our business objectives for 2025. 💪 For the first time, we brought together team members from all operational regions at the Bolton Stadium Hotel to hear from Managing Director lisa kerford, HSQE Manager Delicia Maxwell, and our guest speakers. 🎯 The session was action-packed, highlighting our achievements from the past year, including our fifth Gold Award from The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) and a successful ISO recertification audit, in which Aptus achieved zero non-conformances. Gas Engineer Team Manager Charlotte Berryman also delivered a presentation on gas installation procedures. As always, Aptus is committed to raising standards, and the session included our goals for improvement in 2025. ⚠️ In light of the changes to the Equality Act in 2024, which imposes a new legal duty on employers to prevent sexual harassment, we invited Jennifer Saint, Senior HR & Employment Law Advisor from The HR Dept, to address our team. Her session emphasised the definition of sexual harassment, both inside and outside of the workplace, and outlined individual responsibilities in creating a safe and respectful work environment. ❤️🩹 Our final speaker, Justin Manley owner of Titanium Talks, delivered a powerful message about the consequences of neglecting health and safety protocols. Justin shared his personal story, highlighting the life-altering repercussions of his actions on himself and those around him. Thanks to Justin for his candid account, which provided us all with much to reflect upon. 🔟 The event also provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our colleagues who have reached a significant milestone. Four colleagues reached an impressive 10 years with Aptus and Lisa formally presented their awards at the Stand Down - look out for more news on these awards later this week! Thank you to everyone who attended the first Safety Stand Down of 2025 - we look forward to another productive year with our fantastic team! #healthandsafety #safetystanddown #hr #equalityact #ISOAccreditation
