  • Sundays are for wearing comfy clothes and knitwear. It's well and truly jumper season and there's nothing more I love than wearing cosy and stylish clothes. To keep your woolies looking perfect, season after season, year after year, I am sharing my top tips to keep your knitwear looking pristine and give them more longevity. * Use a detergent specially formulated to be kind and gentle on your woolies. My favourite is Woolite which can be used on all delicates, wool and cashmere. * Hand wash or use the hand wash cycle on your machine, setting it to maximum spin to remove as much water as possible. Reshape and dry flat. * Use a steamer or low heat on an iron and iron on the reverse to remove any creases. * Fold or hang, the choice is yours! I prefer to hang so I have all my clothes to hand to make dressing quick and easy. I use these knitwear hangers which are specially designed so they don't cause damage to the shoulders of my favourite knits. * Keep you knits looking pristine with a debobbler. I use this electric one from but a manual one works equally well - so satisfying too! It literally breathes new life into your old faves. #wardrobestylist #wardrobedetox #clutterfree #takecareofyourclothes #loveyourwardrobe #appearanceandattitude #lovetheclothesyouwear #organisedwardrobe #wardrobegoals #knitwear

  • So many of my clients wear darker clothes in winter, but dont worry Im quick to explain that your colour palette means you can wear it all year round no matter what the season. However it is easy to fall into the trap of a dark wardrobe. But by adding one fun, colourful piece you can change the whole look and feel of your outfit. And it'll also have a huge impact on your mood too. That's the power of colour! #whattowear #discoveryourcolours #colouranalysisworks #seasonaldressing #colouranalysis #bookyoursession #addsomecolour #eversleyimageconsultant

  • People often think Im mad when I say Autumn/Winter is my favourite season, but I don't care. I just love Autumn/Winter clothes and accessories and personally I feel so much better in them. One of things I love most is how you can add lots of accessories, such as scarves, hats, coats and jewellery without getting too hot! Never underestimate the power of accessories. They shouldn't be kept for special days or occasions, they are for every day, perfect for upping the style stakes. No outfit is complete without them - they are like the frosting to a cupcake. But don't forget, they should complement your outfit, not compete with it. ▫️Accessories add interest to your outfit. Without them, you run the risk of becoming bored with your wardrobe because the outfits are always the same. Accessories can switch up your look in an instant. ▫️Accessories extend the life of your clothes. With a change of accessories, an outfit you were so familiar can be given a new lease of life. ▫️Accessories pull your look together. They create interesting details where clothes are simple or plain. ▫️Accessories add personality to your look and give you an opportunity to express your unique, personal style. ▫️To renew and rejuvenate an older outfit and give it a completely new look pair it with the latest season's must have accessories. It's also a low cost way of bringing your look bang up to date. ▫️Accessories add versatility. With a change in accessories you can wear the same ensemble over and over but it will look and feel different every time when you add different accessories. ▫️Use accessories to highlight your best assets and take attention away the ones you are not so fond of. ▫️And finally, when it comes to jewellery don't forget that warm skin tones should wear gold near their face and cool skin tones should wear silver. This will act as an instant face lift. Whats your favourite season? #whattowear #personalstylisteversley #imageconsultationeversley #lovewhatyouwear #styleforallages #feelgoodinyourclothes #realwomenstylist #stylisheveryday #seasonaldressing #autumnstyle #winterstyle

  • Did you know that there's a shade of every colour to suit every skin tone? As a Personal Stylist, I often hear from clients, "I can't wear red. I can't wear yellow…" Yes you can! It's simply about finding the correct shade to compliment your skin tone. No colour is off limits, well apart from black but that's for another post… And whilst there's a shade of every colour to suit every skin tone, you don't have to like every colour. For example, I don't like yellow. I don't own any, I walk past it in the shops and I would never try an item in yellow. I know which shade suits me, but I just don't like it. Similarly, I have a client that has a huge loathing for pink. And that's ok. You can know which shades suit you and still choose not to wear them. This is the advice I give my Personal Styling clients during a Colour Analysis Consultation because I don't dictate what you should and shouldn't wear colour wise, I'm simply there to share my expertise and guide you. Tools, not rules 👌🏼 #whattowear #discoveryourcolours #colouranalysisworks #colouranalysis #bookyoursession #eversleyimageconsultant

  • As a Personal Stylist, I adore colour and you will see me wearing it quite a bit. I love its transformative powers, but the truth is neutrals also make a great foundation for your wardrobe and I personally love them as much as I love colour (there I said it) When choosing neutrals you need to follow the same principles as when wearing colour. I discuss this during all Colour Analysis & Styling sessions. If you have a warm skin tone then warm, yellow based neutrals are your friend. Colours such as ivory, peach and beige or taupe based neutrals are most flattering to your skin tone. If you have a cool skin tone then cool, blue based neutrals are best for you. White, blush and stone will work well against your skin. I'd love to to hear how you feel about neutrals, let me know in the comments below👇🏼 #neutrals #wardrobestylist #wardrobegoals #colouranalysis #knowyourcolours #whattowear #discoveryourcolours #colouranalysisworks #bookyoursession #eversleyimageconsultant

  • Read below for the two biggest misconception about being Stylish! I'm the wrong bodyshape to be stylish..... I mean where do I even start with this? The perfect body does not exist. You can look fabulous and stylish regardless of your size or shape. You just need to dress with understanding of your body shape and proportions. I cant afford stylish clothes. ... This is definitely not true. You can be stylish but not need to splurge on your wardrobe. They key to this is knowing your own style then you can shop accordingly and a lot less. If you want to feel better in your clothes, let me prove to you that you shape & bank balance has nothing to do with how stylish you feel. #whattowear #personalstylisteversley #imageconsultationeversley #lovewhatyouwear #styleforallages #feelgoodinyourclothes #realwomenstylist #stylisheveryday

  • The power of wearing your best colours should not be underestimated. The results are beautiful, glowy, even skin that makes you look younger. No interventions required, you imply need to chose the correct shades and tones to compliment your skin tone. During Colour Analysis, I take the time to explore the impact each and every drape has on my client's skin tone. It never fails to amaze them (or me) the impact wearing the "right" colours has, versus wearing the "wrong" colours. Of course, there's no "wrong" colours as such because I firmly believe if you love it then wear it. BUT there's certainly a huge difference between what gives your skin tone a gorgeous glow, versus those colours that make you look older and washed out. I explain this as we work through the process to establish your "best" season. By the end of the session you come away knowing exactly which colours to wear and those to avoid (should you choose). As I always say to my PersonalStyling clients, "When you know, you know!" And I promise a Colour Analysis session with me will change your life! Don't take my word for it, check out my Google reviews and client testimonials to see how huge an impact a Colour Analysis appointment has had on them. https://lnkd.in/dwURA9i #personalstylingservices #personalstylistwokingham #colouranalysis #lovecolour #colourtherapy #colouranalysisworks

  • The classic "jeans and a nice top" look is still a go-to, but now with a Boho twist! This season's ruffle and frill trend is perfect for Romantic style personalities—if that's you, you might already have these playful pieces in your wardrobe! Here are our styling tips for rocking ruffles and frills: ✨ Tip 1: Ruffles Add Volume! To avoid adding bulk to a larger bust or tummy, choose smaller, neater ruffles, avoiding these areas, and opt for open necklines that flatter without overwhelming. ✨ Tip 2: Balance Your Proportions Ruffles can add volume just where you need it! If you have a triangle body shape, try ruffles across the shoulders to create balance with your hips and give your waist a more defined look. ✨ Tip 3: Let Ruffles Shine on Their Own Ruffles are eye-catching enough, so keep jewellery minimal and let those details steal the show. ✨ Tip 4: Choose Your Fabric Wisely Stiff fabrics like cotton can stand away from the body, adding volume. For a softer look, go for fluid fabrics like satin. On the other hand, if you want to build up a specific area, a stiffer fabric can do just that! Which tip are you trying out? 👗 #BohoStyle #RuffleTrend #StyleTips #FashionBalance #stylisttips #colourmebeautiful #styletips #wearwhatyoulove #lookgoodinyourclothes #wardrobestylist
