  • Anson McCade is fundraising for Alzheimer's Society!✨ There are currently around 900,000 people in the UK living with dementia. The likelihood of developing dementia increases significantly with age, and it mainly affects people over the age of 65. One in 14 people aged over 65 has dementia. This rises to 1 in 6 for people aged over 80. However, Dementia can affect younger people too. Around 1 in 20 people with dementia are younger than 65, and there are over 70,800 people in the UK who have young-onset dementia. Alzheimer's Society has been a powerful force for change for over 40 years, and we want to contribute to the amazing work they do. We will be competing in the London Business Fives Ltd charity football tournament next week to raise money.   • Our recent piece of research shows that some areas are more attractive than others for female STEM talent. If your focus is on attracting the best female talent to give your team a different perspective, you could find some quick wins by analysing which skills you can target that could help you achieve these goals. At first glance, software testing seems to be the most accessible career path for women in STEM. Disappointingly only 13% of software engineers at a mid level are female, but we’re seeing around 37% of engineers at a junior level! That’s progress! We’re fortunate enough to be working with companies paving the way when it comes to DE&I so get in touch if you are looking for a new role at businesses where accessibility is a priority!
