We're pleased to present our Annual Report for 2023-24. This comprehensive report highlights ANGUSalive’s achievements, key milestones and the impact of its services on communities throughout Angus. Despite a challenging operating environment, we have continued to invest in our facilities, deliver innovative programmes and provide a wide cultural offering for locals and visitors to Angus. Commenting on the release, ANGUSalive’s Acting Chief Executives Iain Stevens and Colin Knight commented: “We are both delighted to share this year’s report, which highlights the hard work and dedication of our team in supporting the communities of Angus. It highlights how our team have strived to meet the quality of service that the users of our services should expect and showcasing some inspiring stories” We encourage our customers, partners and indeed our colleagues to take a look at our annual report with a high level of pride with the work they’ve delivered over what, as we well know, is a challenging period for ALEO organisations like ourselves.” You can view the annual report here: https://lnkd.in/eVsv8dzN

🎥 Watch: Gary Meikle at Webster Memorial Theatre, bringing his hilarious comedy to the stage! The Webster Memorial Theatre has long been a staple in the Angus community and it's brilliant to be able to welcome high profile acts such as Gary. who in his own words, describes the Webster as "one of his favourite venues in Scotland" 😍. It's not just us, or those who attend who have a great night when acts like Gary come to down, so does the businesses around us.

🎥 Watch: Gareth Gates at Montrose Town Hall, performing Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons! We are so pleased to be programming more regularly out of Montrose Town Hall, not only brings a fantastic evening to to those attend but nights like this can be a huge support to the businesses around the town 🙌. Last week we launched our "Inspire Angus" campaign - a campaign which aims to drive donation income which help support the delivery of our services. Shortly, visitors will see ‘Inspire Angus’ posters spread across our venues, which have QR codes linked to them showcasing specific items and activities they can help support. This campaign will highlight exactly how donations – even in small amounts – directly benefit the community and keep these vital services running smoothly. We encourage you to read about it - you can check it out below: Visit our Inspire Angus Campaign here: https://lnkd.in/eRgSwDu5 Full news story: https://lnkd.in/etEMc3by. Lovely work Les Mills UK (LMUK) 🤝
We partnered with Dundee and Angus College to support the next generation of HND students and now, newly certified Les Mills Instructors. This week we celebrate the course achieving a 90% success rate with 17 graduates now working in the industry, some of which directly within group exercise. We’re continuing to work alongside colleges closely to provide the link into direct employment with local facilities including ANGUSalive alongside Leisure and Culture Dundee. Here's to the next generation of employees within the fitness industry.

Lovely write up by Rachel McConachie (DC Thomson) on David's Zacatecus food trailed up at Crombie Country Park. Not only will you get some tasty food if you visit, you'll get some fantastic Autumnal colours to go with it at this time of year! 👉 https://lnkd.in/enhA7PgM

We were delighted to have Gail Melville (otherwise known at That Girl Gail!) in at our Lend + Mend Hub in Forfar last week, showcasing the importance of sustainability. Our Lend + Mend hub opened last year and is a dedicated facility which allows free access to equipment to repair, reuse, and upcycle everyday items. It's a fantastic resource and we're one of only 9 libraries in the country to have one! For more info on our pioneering Lend + Mend Hub, check out: https://lnkd.in/eYuCBFpY
