KM and the Dream Team! 💚 It might be the new year already, but we haven't forgotten about all the Christmas festivities our support teams have helped with. Over the winter season, our Amore Complex Care client, KM, had a wonderful time celebrating with her dedicated support team. The group came together with holiday cheer, creating special memories. A heartfelt thank you to KM's team and to all of our support workers—not just for making Christmas magical, but for everything you do day in and day out to support our clients and help them to achieve their goals. Together, you are making a lasting impact. 🙌 #supportworker #supportworkers #socialcare #healthandsocialcare #complexcare

🎉 Seven years of the Amore Group! 🎉 This month, we mark an important milestone: seven years of delivering compassionate, person-centred care to communities across the UK. From our roots in the North West to our expansion into Leeds, we’ve remained focused in our mission to improve lives through outstanding care and support. What have we achieved? 💚 Amore Complex Care: Delivering 'GOOD' rated 24-hour care packages regulated by the Care Quality Commission, supporting children and adults with complex needs. 💚 Amore Social Care: Providing over 12,000 hours of care weekly, matching clients with temporary and permanent support workers across the North West. This anniversary is a testament to the incredible dedication of our staff. As Ian, our Managing Director , says: “Our staff have been absolutely instrumental in our success.” And Gareth, our Commercial Director, adds: “Thank you for being part of our journey. Your efforts have truly shaped the Amore Group into what it is today.” To every team member – frontline support workers and office staff included– thank you for your passion and commitment. You are the heart of the Amore Group, and we look forward to continuing this journey together. Here’s to our next chapter! ☺️ #healthandsocialcare #7yearanniversary #thankyou #leeds #liverpool #runcorn #northwest

Big goals for the new year don't have to be overwhelming - sometimes the best way forward is one small step at a time! The same has been true for our Amore Complex Care client. 😊 We're so proud to share what meaningful outcomes they have achieved, thanks to the guidance of our Positive Behavioural Support Lead, Jasmine Wood. As they find daily routines challenging, Jasmine has developed a brilliant visual guide system that breaks everything down into manageable chunks. It's all about that "now, next and then" approach - just like turning those big 2025 goals into smaller, achievable steps! The visuals are designed to: 💚 Act as a visual guide to reduce verbal demands (because sometimes less chat = less stress!) 💚 Facilitate a "now, next and then" structure for smoother transitions between activities (no surprises = happy days!) 💚 Motivate participation in community activities alongside preferred routines (small steps to big wins!) By using these adaptable, portable boards, the support team has helped the client achieve important milestones across locations, such as playing on a park swing. To integrate our client into the local community like this, the team would take the board to her at the end of an period of time and use the "now, next, and then" structure to say what she can expect: for example, "now is swing, next is walk home, then iPad". The consistent use of these strategies fosters the independence and well-being of our client. Our support team always make sure that a preferred activity will be "next" after something that might be out of the client's comfort zone. This is just one of the many ways that this particular team has been delivering care that is person-centred for this client, and we're proud to say that we see a lot of these personal touches implemented across our packages of care. If you are looking for a health and social care provider with expertise in positive behavioural support, please reach out at enquiries@amore-group.co.uk or call 01244 566 040. Here's to Jasmine and the support team! 🙌 #positivebehaviouralsupport #socialcare #complexcare #pbs #care #supportworker #supportworkers

Last Friday, the Amore Group embraced the magic of France for our 2024 Christmas Party, the dazzling 'Glamour in Paris' event at Knowsley Safari Park! 💃 From sipping prosecco under the twinkling Eiffel Tower to being wowed by breathtaking aerial performances and dramatic stage entertainment, the night was a celebration of all things French chic.. We indulged in a festive feast and partied the night away, busting some moves on the central dancefloor! 🎶 Dodgem rides, dessert stations, and celebrating with our staff made it an amazing evening. Here's to the memories we created, the successes we celebrated, and the exciting year ahead. 🥳 Amore Social Care Amore Complex Care

The months have flied by - time to celebrate our superstar intern Ameeta Emmanuel Diaz as she completes her journey with us at the Amore Group! 💚 Ameeta joined us as part of her MSc in Health Service Management program in Wrexham University. During her time here, she has been an invaluable member of our team. Helping Amore go digital, she has transferred our Amore Complex Care clients' care plans to our care planning platform, making our person-centred plans go real-time. We're incredibly proud to have been part of Ameeta's professional journey and can't wait to see what the future holds as she completes her dissertation and advances in her healthcare management career! 🎓 Thank you for everything, Ameeta! We will miss you, but we know you will go on to do great things. 😊

A huge congratulations to our Christmas Card Competition winners : the Tiny Tots Room at Heathside Nursery in Runcorn! 👏🎅 These children, aged between 0–2 years, worked together to create this year’s winning design. Their festive creation will now be featured as Amore’s official Christmas card for 2024. Well done, Tiny Tots! To celebrate, we’ve sent a hamper full of festive goodies to the nursery. 🎁 Thank you to all our clients, support workers, staff, family and friends for taking part and helping us spread the festive cheer. We were truly blown away by the creativity this year! As we enter the holiday season, remember that the Amore Group continues to provide support as usual. Santa's workshop just called – they are totally jealous of THIS massive gift collection! 🎄 From tiny tots to young people, our Runcorn and Leeds offices have come together to bring some joy to children this Christmas. 🎅 Today, the hardworking Everton in the Community volunteers picked up all these gifts from our Evan House office in Runcorn. All the presents will be going straight to underprivileged young people in Liverpool, distributed by Everton in the Community. Peggie Gleeson, our Quality Lead, was the head of our Amore Complex Care North West gift-giving operation and a great big 'thank you' goes her way! 🎁 Meanwhile, over in our Yorkshire branch, our staff have donated and wrapped lots of gifts to go to local children in Leeds, delivered through their schools. All the offices in the business park helped to contribute to the big wrap and we couldn't be more thankful! A huge congratulations goes out to Emily Clark and our Yorkshire Registered Manager, Jenny Brown. Peggie, Jenny and Emily have helped out some of the most disadvantaged children in our communities, but so has everyone who has donated to the cause. Thank you to everyone who has sent a present our way - you have made a child's Christmas day! 😊

And that's a wrap! 🎁 Our Makers Market on Friday was an absolute blast, and we loved seeing so many of you come along! As a health and social care provider, we wanted to host this event as a special gift to our staff, clients, and the local community. The turnout was fantastic, and it was heart-warming to see everyone enjoying the festive atmosphere while supporting our talented makers. 🌟 To our talented stallholders – Poseidon’s Wrath Spirits, Crochet with Ems, K’s Kreations, Lillie’s Crafty Creations, Lian’s Croc Charms, Entwined Wire Arts, Flourish, Lyla’s Cupcake Corner , and our wreath and jewellery makers, thank you for making this event truly special.

How is this for multitasking? One of our Amore Complex Care service users got creative and made a beautiful Christmas card, all while helping to decorate the tree! 🎄 With the amazing support of his Case Officer, Alisha Hogan, our client added his personal touch to the holidays. Baubles in hand, his support team was ready to help out! A huge congratulations to LP and his support team for a job well done : you have really brought the holiday spirit to life. Here at Amore Group, days like these remind us of the joy to be had in coming together to make something fabulous 😊

Feast your eyes on not one, not two, but THREE breakfast hampers! 🤩 Our amazing Amore Complex Care House Manager, Sam Rigby, went above and beyond last week by preparing these thoughtful hampers for the support team she works with. Placed in the client’s home, they were ready and waiting in the morning to surprise the team with a feast to start their day right. Muffins, mushrooms, peeled plums, bacon, bread, beans, juice, chipolatas, eggs, spreads of all kinds and much more were on the table. 😋 Breakfast is a big deal in the house and Sam made sure there was something for everyone, taking into account the team’s different dietary needs. It was her way of saying 'thank you' for all the incredible work they do to support our client — making one of their mornings a little brighter. To the support team: thank you for your dedication and care. 💙 To Sam: thank you for rewarding the team with such a kind gesture. 💚 A small act of kindness can go a long way—and this one certainly started the day on the right foot!
