A Letter from the CEO Dear Friends and Partners, As 2024 comes to an end, I find myself reflecting on what has been an incredibly tough year, not just for our sector but for many of us personally and professionally. Decreasing budgets and increasing demands have challenged us all in ways we couldn’t have anticipated. Yet, through resilience and determination, we’ve navigated these turbulent times together. At AGS Support, these challenges have compelled us to rethink, adapt, and innovate – but also to reflect on what truly matters: the partnerships and relationships that form the backbone of everything we do. As we look ahead to 2025, we know more challenges lie ahead, but we’re committed to tackling them head-on with you by our side. A Renewed Focus on Partnerships and Human Connection The year ahead will be a pivotal one for AGS Support, as we double down on strengthening our relationships with both clients and staff. After the disruption caused by COVID-19, face-to-face interaction has diminished across many industries, and it’s time to change that. In 2025, we’re going back to basics – prioritising human connection, old-fashioned values, and exceptional customer service. This means: Strengthening Relationships: You can expect to see us more often, in person, to ensure we’re fully aligned and in tune with your needs. Building meaningful relationships with our clients and staff will be at the heart of our efforts. Prioritising Partnerships: Collaboration and partnership will guide everything we do. We know that working closely with our clients and staff is the key to overcoming the challenges ahead. Upping Our Game: From enhanced service delivery to proactive communication, we’re committed to going above and beyond in everything we do. A Year of Opportunity While 2024 has tested us all, it has also provided opportunities for growth and improvement. AGS Support is stepping into 2025 not just as a service provider, but as a partner that listens, learns, and acts. We’re evolving to better serve the communities that depend on us and to create a positive impact in the supported housing sector. Thank You for Your Trust None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our clients and the dedication of our incredible staff. Your trust, partnership, and collaboration mean the world to us, and we are deeply grateful for everything you do. As we embark on this new chapter, I’d like to personally thank you for your continued support and invite you to join us in making 2025 a year of stronger partnerships, greater connection, and meaningful impact. If you’d like to share your thoughts or learn more about our initiatives, I’d love to hear from you – feel free to reach me directly at richard@agssupport.co.uk. Here’s to a new year filled with challenges to overcome, opportunities to seize, and connections to strengthen. Warm regards, Richard Odendaal Founder and CEO

Homelessness soars in England due to sky-high rents and asylum backlog crackdown! Homelessness in England has reached alarming levels, driven by rising private rents, an increase in no-fault evictions, and a backlog of asylum claims. Over 358,000 households faced the loss of their homes last year, a 10% increase from the previous year. The housing crisis, already strained by record-high rents, has been worsened by the government’s approach to asylum seekers. Critics argue that those left in limbo while awaiting asylum decisions are being unfairly blamed for homelessness pressures, which are mainly due to rental market issues...
