About us

ACT Community: Empowering Athletes Beyond Sport Learn | Thrive | Innovate | Connect Originally founded as Athlete Career Transition in 2011 by international rugby players Andy and Steve Moore, ACT Community has grown into a global leader in supporting athletes through every stage of their careers and beyond. This year, we proudly evolved into ACT Community, embracing a community-first approach to provide holistic support and create meaningful connections for athletes worldwide. At ACT Community, we empower athletes to navigate their journey from sport to business with confidence and purpose. Partnering with world-class businesses, we offer comprehensive programs designed by athletes, for athletes, equipping them with the skills, networks, and resources they need to succeed. From career development during their playing days to seamless transitions into rewarding professional roles, ACT Community ensures athletes are not just prepared for life after sport but positioned to thrive. The challenges faced by retiring athletes are significant, and the demand from forward-thinking businesses for their unique qualities—resilience, leadership, teamwork, and dedication—continues to grow. ACT Community bridges this gap, unlocking opportunities for both athletes and employers through an innovative, peer-supported network. Our mission is bold: by the 2028 LA Olympics, we aim to build a global community of 1 million athletes, fostering a transformative environment where athletes can learn, grow, and innovate together.
