  • ♿️ Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities A day to celebrate the achievements, contributions, and resilience of disabled individuals around the world. It’s also a time to reflect on the challenges that still exist and to renew our commitment to creating a more inclusive and accessible society. Living a healthy, active lifestyle is not a privilege—it’s a right. Yet, for many disabled people, accessing fitness resources, and inclusive communities remains an uphill battle. Barriers—whether physical, social, or attitudinal—still stand in the way. There are 71,000+ fitness apps globally available but none cater for the 1.2 billion global disbaled population. This means disabled people do not have access to fitness tool that truly caters for them. At Accessercise, we’re determined to change this. As the world’s first fitness app specifically designed for disabled individuals, we’ve made it our mission to bridge this gap. Through impairment specific exercise guidance, a thriving community network, and a gym accessibility rating tool, we’re empowering disabled people to take control of their health and fitness journey. Because when disabled people are given the tools to thrive, we don’t just move forward as individuals—we move forward as a society. This International Day of Persons with Disabilities, let’s champion accessibility and inclusion. Let’s ensure that everyone has the right to live actively, healthily, and on their own terms. Join us in this movement. Together, we can create a fitness industry—and a world—that works for everyone. #IDPD2024 #AccessibilityMatters #InclusiveFitness #Accessercise #DisabilityRights
