Since 1966, we’ve grown to serve over 41,000 customers living in 22,000 homes across the north, east, and south of England. We are driven by the belief that helping to solve the housing crisis will provide people with stability, a foundation for better living and contribute to the nation’s wider objectives for local and national growth. This period marks a dynamic phase for us as we work to further enhance our service offerings, ensuring that customers not only receive a first-class experience, but are also integral to shaping these services. As the clock ticks down to the end of 2024, we’re reflecting on the last 12 months. Over the last year, #TeamAccent has worked hard to deliver great services for our customers. Here are some of the things we’re particularly proud of: ▪️ Finalised and launched our new Corporate Strategy for the next 3 years ▪️ Being named in the Top 50 Biggest Builders of affordable housing, and the 2nd for the number of new EPCA homes built ▪️ Awarded a Silver SHIFT accreditation for sustainability ▪️ G1/V1 rating retained through our annual stability check ▪️ Marked our strong income performance in our Annual Accounts publication ▪️ Introduced our new Customer Champions to amplify the voice of the customer in our decision making and service improvement initiatives ▪️ Launched a brand new Customer Engagement Strategy, to empower customers to give feedback and be heard ▪️ Published our second ESG report, that highlights our commitment to sustainability and social impact ▪️ Launched our new brand, visual identity and a new website with clear and streamlined content ▪️ Welcomed our new CEO Nick Apetroaie to lead us to an even better future ▪️ Held our 2nd Big Conversation where our team spoke to 2,422 customers …to name just a few! We’re looking forward to 2025, and to working hard to continue improving services for our customers. 🎄 Making a Difference Together: Trussell Trust Christmas Food Bank Collection 2024 🎄 This year, #TeamAccent and our amazing partner contractors from all regional offices came together to support the The Trussell Trust Food Bank in the fight against poverty and hunger. Back in November, we held ‘The Big Conversation’, our annual customer engagement event. 💬 Over 250 members of #TeamAccent 🏠 went out-and-about about all over the country, with the aim of talking to as many customers as possible and listening to their feedback, ideas, and thoughts. 💡 Key highlights: 🚪 5,739 doors knocked on 🤝 2,422 customers spoken to across 175 areas We gathered and recorded all thoughts and feedback from the day and our team is now working hard to use all this insight and data to inform an action plan – with the ultimate goal of continuing to improve our services.
