Did you know that 20 % of elderly citizens who receive home care are dehydrated?* Dehydration in the elderly can lead to several health issues, such as kidney failure and an increased risk of infections*. That is why the Danish municipality of Aarhus carried out a project on how AQUATIME, the digital drinking glass, can help prevent dehydration. The project found that using the digital drinking glass to monitor and manage fluid intake made a real difference for elderly citizens and their caretakers. How should a diaper look in the future? That’s the question we examine in the project: Diaper System 2030. Together with our partners, we are investigating how we can minimise waste from diaper production and use. Our goal is to make Denmark’s diaper system more circular. The innovation project will run for three years and is co-financed by Innovation Fund Denmark via TRACE. Do you struggle with choosing between two products that look identical? This means we calculate all resources extracted from the environment and the emissions that go into it for most of our assortment, including several coffee cups.
