Yesterday we spent 8hours working on the UI/UX of our new venture. Here's what I learnt: Thinking is underrated. We can often full into the trap of moving fast in a startup, as much as I celebrate speed of execution there is certain moments where it is better to consider each one of the details before you start building. By truly focussing on the problems and pain points that your customers have you can ensure that you are building a product that has value not just something that looks pretty. One of the core focusses of our workshop yesterday was 'personas', deliberating in detail on our 3 customer archetypes. What is important to them, what they look for in a product, the emotional drivers. It's amazing what you uncover when you think from the position of the customer rather than from that solution. Sunday night Jacques Greeff Kye Hanlon jumped on a plane to Sri Lanka to spend 3 days with Bhanuka Harischandra & Surge Global We have been filming the entire process to bring you on our journey to hunt a unicorn.
