  • "Beyond simply ensuring that workplaces are sanitary and safe, there's a growing recognition that mentally healthy and well-supported individuals perform better, contribute more, and stay with organisations longer. From a business perspective, investing in employee well-being goes far beyond providing a clean office—it's a strategic investment in satisfaction, retention, and productivity." • Recently, our Managing Director of Global Marketing & Communication, Chelsea Perino, spoke at two engaging sessions at the MIPIM Asia Summit in Hong Kong. The first session explored the future of workplaces, while the second focused on Riyadh's transformative New Murabba Project. Both sessions provided in-depth insights into innovative solutions and strategies shaping the real estate sector. During the event, Chelsea shared her thoughts on the rapidly evolving flexible workspace industry, highlighting TEC's upcoming expansion into Riyadh in 2025. She emphasised how flexibility, innovation, and collaboration can empower organisations to shape a future that meets the evolving needs of people and communities. Here are some of the key takeaways: 🏢 Evolving Future of Workspaces: The panel highlighted the dramatic shifts redefining the workplace, including the rise of remote work, the changing role of offices, and the growing importance of fostering strong company cultures. A clear purpose, meaningful partnerships, and recruiting the right people were identified as critical factors in shaping the future of work. Companies can future-proof their workplaces by embracing flexibility and inclusivity, creating environments that empower employees to thrive. Investing in smart technologies is also a key driver of success, streamlining operations and enhancing productivity. Additionally, partnering with industry leaders allows organisations to stay ahead of workplace trends and explore new opportunities for collaboration and growth. 🇸🇦 Future of Urban Development in Riyadh:   The New Murabba Project sets a bold precedent for sustainable urban development, combining smart technology, sustainability, and community-focused design. Its vision is to enhance the quality of life for residents by creating public spaces that encourage inclusivity, interaction, and engagement. Companies looking to invest in Riyadh must adopt forward-thinking urban planning practices, incorporating renewable energy solutions and green building certifications to align with future demands. Connecting with like-minded companies that share this vision will open new opportunities for businesses to tap into this thriving region. With our new centre opening in KAFD and connections to our global community of over 50,000+ Members, TEC is excited to help bridge the gap for business seeking to enter the Riyadh market. #RealEstate #BusinessNews #FlexibleWorkspace #SaudiArabia #MIPIMAsia

  • Recently, our TEC Community Hong Kong partnered with our Member WealthRyse to host an insightful session on how AI is reshaping investment management and portfolio strategies. Through the event, our Members gained valuable insights into leveraging AI for data analytics, asset pricing, and how to resolve the operational challenges of using AI. Here are some key takeaways: 📊 Data Analytics: AI's ability to process high-dimensional data can enable more precise investment decisions by uncovering patterns and correlations overlooked by traditional models. Through continuous market analysis, AI can help analyse how news impacts stock prices, detect trends, and manage portfolios more dynamically based on market conditions. Investors can utilise AI-powered visualisation platforms to detect anomalies and emerging trends in real-time and be empowered to stay ahead of market movements and make data-driven decisions. 🧑💻 Predictive Asset Pricing: The predictive accuracy of asset pricing can be significantly enhanced through AI. Unlike human analysts, who can evaluate only a few hundred models monthly, AI engines can test millions of potential model combinations by utilising all available and up-to-date data, making AI-driven predictions as reliable, if not superior to those generated by human analysts. Additionally, AI engines have the ability to process unstructured data, such as news and social media, using advanced techniques like deep learning and natural language processing (NLP). Investors can leverage these capabilities to develop customised models that align with specific investor behaviours, preferences, and client requirements, moving beyond generic, one-size-fits-all investment strategies. 🤔 Operational Challenges: Data quality remains a significant obstacle, with issues like standardisation and manual labelling slowing progress. Companies must invest in robust data management tools to clean, organise, and standardise datasets for AI models. Another critical challenge is talent acquisition, as finding professionals skilled in finance, data science, and machine learning remains a hurdle. Companies are encouraged to invest in training programs that allow employees to develop expertise in these areas, fostering long-term growth and innovation within their teams. #Community #AI #HongKong
