We are excited to announce that our Co-founder and COO, Kelvin, has been selected as one of the awardees for the Greater Bay Area Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs Award. Out of over 1,300 candidates in the Greater Bay Area, 126 winners were chosen this year. This award is a testimony to our team’s collective effort in pushing the boundaries of technology to benefit our supportive business partners and clients. We will continue to support innovation and make contributions to the insurance industry. Event details: On August 27th, 2024, the 5th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs Award Ceremony, organized by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, was held simultaneously in Hong Kong and Macau. The event was attended by nearly 3,000 young people both online and offline, including distinguished guests such as Hong Kong SAR Chief Executive John Lee, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong SAR Liu Guangyuan, and Secretary for Economy and Finance of the Macau SAR Lei Wai Nong. Cai Guanshen, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, was also present at the event.

It is a great honor that Mediconcen has been included in the "300+ City Innovation Community" book, which features 8 startups from the HK Tech 300 program, and was exhibited at the Hong Kong Book Fair from July 17-23. The three co-founders have rarely shared their insights in the book, answering questions such as: What are the benefits of using blockchain to record medical records? How can we obtain financing by solving the pain points of insurance claims? Check out the book to find out more.

On June 11th, our COO, Kelvin, and CMO, Jenny, from MediConCen, along with Dr. Rocky Cheng Chung-ngam, the CEO of Hong Kong Cyberport, and representatives from three other tech innovation companies, participated in a delegation visit to Xiangzhou, Zhuhai. They had exchanges with local government officials, including the mayor, and tech innovation companies in Zhuhai Xiangzhou. During the visit, we had the opportunity to explore the Zhuhai Planning Exhibition Hall and experience a variety of practical and technologically advanced products made in Zhuhai. We also visited the Zhuhai FinTech Center and attended a seminar that focused on the future prospects and development vision for collaboration between technology enterprises in Hong Kong and Zhuhai. As a part of the Hong Kong innovation and technology sector and a member of Hong Kong Cyberport, MediConCen is confident in the future scientific and technological development of Zhuhai, as well as the integration of innovation between Hong Kong and Zhuhai.
