We're super proud to share an update from Chinemerem, winner of the Goodnotes STEM Scholarship! 📱 💡 "Going to #NatMatSci has been such an exciting experience! There is a keen sense of community and passion for #STEM, which I deeply appreciate. Over the past few weeks alone, we have had several speakers come to the college, to deliver lectures on a wide range of subjects – from the structure of 4D shapes to the possibilities of mind uploading. Moreover, lessons never fail to feel engaging. I am having a wonderful time, and I am thankful that Goodnotes has helped grant me this experience." Here’s Chinemerem at one of her favourite spots, the The National Mathematics and Science College boards! That’s a wrap on the Goodnotes Roadshow (for now)! 🚌💙 From coast to coast, we visited over 50 campuses, met hundreds of students, and celebrated the power of digital note-taking along the way. As we take a winter break, we’re sending a huge *thank you* to every student, ambassador, and note-taker who joined us. Your enthusiasm made this journey unforgettable! We’ll be back in 2025, ready to visit even more campuses. Until then, happy holidays from all of us at Goodnotes! 🎄📚

Thoroughly enjoyed presenting and facilitating workshops at Apple London HQ last week. Apple Distinguished Schools from across the UK and Ireland gathered in Battersea for a superb day of insights and best practice sharing. Spearheaded by the wonderful Kate Cheal, participants were able to enjoy discussions on Artificial Intelligence, Meaningful Impact and Assessment. It was such an honour to represent Goodnotes at the event and to see how brilliantly Apple build community around their best practice sharing and professional development. I came away feeling inspired by John Jones (as always!), Samuel Ryder Academy, Kelso High School, Alison Clark-Wilson, Alan Rosenfeld and so many others who contributed on the day. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of it!

Thoroughly enjoyed our panel session yesterday at the The Schools & Academies Show in Birmingham. Alex Langton led a great conversation around matters relating to classroom management, school leadership and tech strategy. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting alongside Mat Pullen from Jamf and Richard Child from MCC Digital, who both brought their own fascinating perspectives to these subjects. I enjoyed speaking about our work at Goodnotes in prioritising safeguarding and data privacy in our tech solutions as well as what responsible use of AI for teachers should look like. From speaking with audience members after the discussion, it’s great to know that our research papers on Generative AI in Schools and The Social and Emotional Impact of AI in Schools are making a difference! Huge thanks to Alex, Richard, Beth Crook and all at MCC who made this possible.

Goodnotes and I go together real bad 🤞🏾 This app has carried me through my time at university - whether annotating lecture slides, completing past papers or filling in my diary. During my visit to their London office, I learned more about their ML-powered features which have transformed it from a notetaking app to an effective learning platform.
