Powering up young minds to embrace their emotions Joy, sadness, anxiety, embarrassment… These are not just movie characters but also real-life emotions students explored during the “Daily Emotion Intake” campus tour, which is a part of the “Seeds for Future” initiative of FTLife. While the tour has come to a successful close, let’s take a moment to revisit some of our milestones. Since the tour kicked off last year, more than 160 volunteers visited 10 schools across Hong Kong and hosted workshops for close to 700 primary school students. Through the interactive emotion card game, we helped these children understand and express their emotions, enhance mental well-being and nurture emotional competence. Thank you The WEMP Foundation for the collaboration, and to all the volunteers for sharing their experience and contributing valuable time for this charitable cause! Growing up certainly has its ups and downs. Grow as One and we are Number One! FTLife is proud to support the 100KM Treadmill Charity Challenge organised by Kai Tak Sports Initiative and serve as the title sponsor for the FTLife #PowerUp Family Challenge, which is part of our “Seeds for Future” programme, with the goal to promote the holistic physical and mental development of children while strengthening parent-child relationships. In the race, parents, children, and even grandparents came together on the treadmills, sharing the same enthusiasm to support such a meaningful parentship and fundraising sports event, with Gareth Ng, Chief Human Resources Officer, officiating the event. Our corporate team led by William Law, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Transformation Officer, and Danny Chow, Chief Actuary, even earned the #Championship in the 50KM race, with one of our athletes, Ellen Li, Manager of Compliance, taking home the title of Women’s Speed Champion.
