2024 has been another great year for Amisewaka – Desa Les Community Center (“DLCC”) and we want to thank everyone that has supported us in empowering more young people in Bali to build a better future for themselves and their families. In July we saw our second wave of students graduate with 95% of them securing jobs in the hospitality sector. We’ve now had not far off 200 young people benefit from our vocational and life skills training program since we first opened our doors in July 2022, and we were delighted to welcome another wave of students aiming to graduate next year. Olympia Shabangu shared information about Amicorp's new ‘ECB’ securitization solution that provides a highly effective, compliant and bespoke solution for Indian businesses or family offices looking to raise working capital from international investors through the Dubai International Finance Centre (DIFC). Some of the benefits include no high-net-worth requirement, being able to assign assets (corporate or personal) as collateral, and it can be tailored in accordance with specific needs and appetites – including around issued securities, loan tenure, pricing & repayment terms, loan agreement terms & covenants, and tailoring around the value and types of collateral. Amicorp is delighted to report that our first 'Padel 4 Good' tournament to raise funds for the Tuma Mi Man daycare center in Curaçao, an Amicorp Community Foundation project, was a huge success. The event saw 63 teams from 32 companies competing at different levels during the 5-day padel competition. The fun-filled event also saw 18 children participating in a Padel Kids Clinic, including a few of the youngsters who attend Tuma Mi Man. Tuma Mi Man offers high-quality childcare services to about 75 children. One-third of the children come from families in need and receive care at little to no cost, ensuring accessibility and support for those who need it most. The center supports children from infancy to age 12, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where all children can thrive. We’d like to thank our partners, participants, and the volunteers who made our first Padel 4 Good event a success. We look forward to many more years of friendly competition and charitable giving.
