#WorkWellwithAIA It was a fantastic time connecting with our amazing team at the recent Employee Townhall, where we celebrated an inclusive Christmas together! Guided by Vivek Mahbubani, Hong Kong’s renowned comedian and advocate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), our Executive Committee Members came together for a meaningful dialogue that highlighted AIA’s key initiatives in advancing DEIB in our community, fostering a culture where everyone feel empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. In honour of the UN International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD), our colleagues enjoyed a delicious array of global flavours prepared by iBakery and New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association - NGOs that dedicated to supporting people with disabilities. Additionally, a visually impaired massage team from the Hong Kong Society for the Blind has also provided our colleagues workplace massage that left everyone feeling rejuvenated. As the festive season shines bright, let us all be reminded of the importance of an inclusive community where everyone feels valued and respected! #AIAHealthiestSchools #OpenForRegistration Since 2022, AIA has launched the AIA Healthiest Schools Programme to encourage schools to help students nurture healthy habits and lifestyles starting from a young age. As part of the Programme, schools are welcome to enter the AIA Healthiest Schools Competition by sharing their methodology and success stories in creating a healthy school environment. Ying Wa Primary School, Hong Kong Winner of AIA Healthiest Schools Competition 2023/24,  has utilised the prize of US$50,000 to enhance its unique and acclaimed Forest Programme, through introducing snorkelling, mangrove forest exploration, birdwatching, school-based hiking certificate training in its 23 topics and 115 outdoor learning classes. Students are provided with the opportunities to learn beyond the classroom and engage with nature for knowledge on marine conservation, biodiversity and ecological mutualism.   Learn from 陳美娟校長Dr Sylvia Chan, students and parent on how Ying Wa Primary School utilised the prize reward to enhance its Forest Programme, for building a healthy learning environment for students to enhance their holistic well-being, and further promoted health concepts to parents and the local community.   Registration for AIA Healthiest Schools Programme 2024/25 has begun and extended to include both primary and secondary schools for the first time in Hong Kong!
