Most companies today focus on visions and values, but as far back as 1965, Villum K. Rasmussen was already shaping his ideas on responsible corporate behaviour. He wanted VELUX to be “a company working with products useful to society, which treats its customers, suppliers, employees of all categories and shareholders better than most other companies.” 🤝 A commitment still guiding us today.

On a scale from 1-10, how impressed are you with this space? 🤩 Rebecca and her parents, Jacqui and Edwin, reside in this beautifully designed home. They have worked closely with architects and designers to ensure that every corner of their home receives optimal amounts of natural light throughout the day 🏡 We think they succeeded quite well in doing that.

Szeretnél többet megtudni erről a holisztikus megközelítésről? Nézd meg a Healthy Buildings Barometer 2024-et 🔗 https://lnkd.in/dp6aJygR

📣 We are excited to share that VELUX and Thylander have entered a partnership with the ambition to scale the Living Places concept to over 500 rental homes in Denmark. 🏡 With the agreement, Thylander will be the first real estate investor and developer to work with the Living Places principles in future construction projects - aiming to accelerate the green transition in Danish construction by implementing solutions with a lower CO2 footprint and a healthy indoor climate. At VELUX, we prototyped the Living Places concept in Copenhagen, showing and sharing how to build with an ultra-low carbon footprint and healthy indoor climate designed for scalability. Now, the concept is being scaled through partner agreements where we share the in-depth data from Living Places as well as detailed information about the five principles behind the project, showing that the solutions are already here. We look forward to our partnership with Thylander and following their work with the concept in the future! https://lnkd.in/d9rAc-hu
