Say hello to our amazing Labster sales executive, Heather L. Robinson, PhD! 🌐Journey at Labster: Having been with the company for just over a year, I'm hitting a stride with learning to best leverage our products for educators and daily exercise our company values, which ultimately aim to echo the voice of the customer. The opportunities for growth—both internal with the company and external with the customer—are unlimited, and every day occupies a new space for challenges and accomplishments. ✏️Favorite Project: I have accidentally and delightfully uncovered a new passion project through forging partnerships with the correctional community. At Labster, we possess a unique and powerful opportunity to offer virtual STEM education to students who are incarcerated in Florida, a relationship we have cultivated for over a year. With the Florida Department of Corrections, our efforts include custom design and execution to address the particular learning needs within the prison community. Moreover, this relationship in Florida has now cast a broad net to other parts of the country, as we are now working with other states--like Kansas--in similar educational initiatives to bring real-world science to those who are in prison. 👤Labster Culture: No longer a start-up and on the cusp of planting veteran roots in the simulation game, Labster offers me a vast terrain for pursuing professional growth. We curate our strategy within, learning each day how to better lean upon one another to sell educational products as a team, always reflecting back the values of educators. The teacher in me is exhilarated to engage with high school and higher education faculty and administrators every day: We speak the same language! And as an employee of Labster, I feel valued and affirmed because of the space that I have occupied in the educational world.
