  • How do you know if you’re on the right track professionally? Sometimes the path feels clear—you’re moving up in your field, hitting goals, and climbing the ladder. Other times, you pause and wonder: Is this even where I want to be? Do you want to take the next step in your current role? Shift industries altogether? Start something completely new? The key is to take time for reflection. Ask yourself: ⚫ What excites me about my work? ⚫ What drains me? ⚫ What do I want my professional life to look like in five years? Clarity comes from questioning. And once you’re clear, you can move forward with purpose. What’s the next step in your career journey? Let me know in the comments ⬇️ #CareerClarity #ProfessionalGrowth #LeadershipCoach

    • Am I on the right path?
  • As we approach the end of 2024, you’ll hear a lot of advice about setting goals and creating plans for the year ahead. And while looking forward is essential, I believe there’s an important step many people skip: looking back. Taking the time to reflect on the year you’ve just had, is a powerful way to prepare for the future. Here’s why: 1️⃣ It shows you how far you’ve come. When you pause to acknowledge your progress, you build confidence in your ability to grow and achieve. Whether it’s professional milestones, personal achievements, or simply overcoming challenges, celebrating your wins is fuel for motivation. 2️⃣ It highlights where you drifted off course. No year ever goes exactly as planned, and that’s okay. By reflecting on what didn’t work or where you lost momentum, you can identify patterns and learn from them. This awareness becomes your guide for avoiding the same pitfalls in the future. 3️⃣ It creates a strong foundation for goal-setting. When you understand where you’ve been, it’s easier to map out where you want to go. Reflection helps you set meaningful goals that align with your true priorities—not just aspirations you feel you should have. So before you dive into planning for 2025, take some time to review the past year. What did you accomplish? What did you learn? And how do you want to build on this in the coming year? Reflection isn’t just a step in the process; it’s the key to intentional, sustainable growth. What’s one lesson 2024 taught you that you’ll carry into 2025? Share your thoughts in the comments—I’d love to hear them! #Leadershipcoach #reflection #jessybrughmans

  • A coach doesn’t tell you what to do. A coach helps you make better decisions. The right decisions—for you. In my work as a Leadership Coach, I often see talented professionals get stuck in indecision. They know they’re ready for something more but feel overwhelmed by the options or unsure of the next step. That’s where coaching comes in. A coach is your sounding board, your mirror, and your guide. Coaching creates a space to clarify your goals, uncover your strengths, and identify the choices that align with who you are and where you want to go. It’s not about what’s “right” for someone else. It’s about what’s right for YOU. Because when you make decisions that feel authentic and aligned with your values, the path forward becomes clearer—and the impact greater. What’s a decision you’ve been putting off? Let’s talk about how coaching could help. #LeadershipCoach #DecisionMaking #AuthenticLeadership

  • I know a lot of good managers. I know very few good leaders. What’s the difference? It comes down to one word: followership. True leaders inspire people to follow them—not because of their title, but because of their vision, trust, and ability to see the bigger picture. Leaders focus on empowering their teams and building trust, creating an environment where people feel valued and motivated to excel. Managers, on the other hand, excel at control. They focus on the details, the data, and the processes that keep the machine running smoothly. And there’s immense value in that—just not when it comes to leading people. The point? Many of those calling themselves leaders today are actually managers. And that’s okay. The key is recognizing the difference. Leadership isn’t about overseeing every detail; it’s about setting a direction and trusting others to help you get there. Great managers are essential to every organization, but leadership requires a different skill set: vision, trust, and the ability to unite and inspire. Have you ever worked with someone who truly inspired followership? What set them apart? If you’re ready to explore your leadership potential and align your actions with your vision, let’s connect. #LeadershipCoach #LeadershipVsManagement #JessyBrughmans

    • Are you a manager or a leader?
  • 🎉 One year ago today, I officially started my business. 🎉 I can’t believe it’s already been a year… In the beginning, it felt like facing a seven-headed dragon 🐉—overwhelming and terrifying. But with time, I’ve learned to trust the process, let go of fear, and enjoy the journey. Now? There’s way more play in what I do. Maybe a dragon head or two is still around, but I’m miles ahead of where I started. Here’s to another year of being brave, and dragon slaying! 🥂 #BusinessAnniversary #EntrepreneurJourney #GrowthMindset

  • Every logo has a story, and mine is a reminder of where I’ve been and where I’m headed. When I launched my first business back in 2019, I needed a symbol that reflected my years of experience in pricing strategy — a triangle felt perfect. Strong, balanced, and straightforward, it mirrored the approach I took in my work. But today, this symbol has taken on a much deeper meaning. The triangle represents three essentials that guide my work with clients: Dollar 💵: Success and growth. Revenue and profit. Heart ❤️: The passion and authenticity that set each of us apart. Time ⏳: The long-term vision, balancing today’s goals with tomorrow’s opportunities. Then there’s the line beneath it — a casual touch, like a pencil mark or a quick swipe of lipstick. It’s there to soften the edges, reminding me that while professionalism and expertise matter, so do warmth and approachability. My clients come for trusted advice, but they also come for genuine connection. The colors tell their own story: pink, soft and open, paired with off-black, strong and grounding. This balance of creativity and strength feels true to what I aim to bring into every coaching session, every strategy call, every client relationship. To some, it might look like a pyramid — a nod to stability and strength. To others, maybe it’s the sail of a ship, drawing from my background in the maritime industry. And for many, it’s an arrow, pointing upwards—a reminder of our collective goal: growth. So, there it is. A symbol, a story, and a journey — all in one.
