We've achieved many things that seemed almost impossible 2.5 years ago when we founded our institute. 🤝 Our Research engineer Andrej Ridzik participated in the #networking event organised by our partner GoodRequest 🎤 The event provided space for partners to connect and exchange ideas. The key moment was a panel discussion on #AI and #innovation, which revolved around the practical use of AI tools. Andrej shared KInIT’s experience with internal AI use, as well as the types of common use cases that our industrial partners face 👥 💪 We are happy to share our know-how to help others understand and use AI better!

In November, our researchers presented at a very prestigious conference on Empirical Methods in Natural Language Processing in Miami! 💯 Dominik Macko introduced his paper about the detection of #AI generated text 🤖 Branislav Pecher presented a research paper on effective model training 💻 Apart from presenting their research, #EMNLP 2024 created a space for sharing ground-breaking scientific knowledge and networking. The event provided both our researchers with many pleasant conversations and a chance to participate in building a strong community of research institutions with KInIT amongst them 💪 🎉 It’s great to see the excellent research done here at KInIT get recognized internationally! 🌐

We are excited to share our successful collaboration with Xolution Robots under the Hopero project! 🥳 👏 Our ethics team helped the company to better understand the impact of their X-bot tool, designed to automate and improve business processes using #AI 👩💻 The discussion brought up many points about free market competition, data safety and diversity 💬 The ethics-based assessment of X-bot revealed potential legal, ethical and societal risks, which were then considered at facilitated meetings with the Xolution team 👥 The strong desire to overcome the threads will motivate further search for countermeasures, leading to a more trustworthy AI automation tool ✅ 💯 It was a great experience for both sides and we cannot wait to see the tool in action! 🔗 Read more: https://lnkd.in/dh6cKssW
