It has been a BIG week for It Takes A Village, and I couldn’t be prouder of how far we’ve come in just five months! 🚀 First, I’m beyond excited to share that ITAV has been chosen as one of only 15 companies selected for the Ministry of Awesome Summer Cohort! With incredible mentors, a supportive network, and an exciting nine-month journey ahead, Nikki and I are thrilled to see where this experience will take us. This week alone has been a whirlwind, and the fire in us has fuelled some amazing milestones: ✨ Record-breaking transactions on the platform. ✨ Ongoing onboarding improvements to enhance our user experience. ✨ Launching our newest feature—connecting users via Facebook mutual connections, building even stronger trusted relationships! What a week!!!! I’m beyond excited to share that It Takes A Village (ITAV) has been chosen as one of only 15 companies selected for the Ministry of Awesome summer cohort! So… we did a thing 🙌. Figuring out SSO (Single Sign-On) for Facebook and Google, without any experience, has been a journey in itself! Learning how to navigate this online space, making mistakes along the way, and embracing that ‘done’ doesn’t always have to be ‘perfect’ has been eye-opening. This process has made both me and Sophia reflect on how far we’ve come with It Takes A Village (ITAV). From starting over more times than we care to count, to learning every step of the way—our growth has been immense. The challenges, frustrations, and moments where we thought we had hit a wall have all pushed us forward and I couldn’t have chosen a better business partner. But we’re still in the early stages of this journey. We’re building something truly different—something authentic, genuine, and real.
