Congratulations to our VentureFruit® team who, this week, announced a key achievement in the global expansion of TUTTI™ with the introduction of a new exclusive partner in Latin America. As the commercialisation partner for the Hot Climate Partnership, VentureFruit® has appointed COPEFRUT SA, a renowned Chilean grower, packer, marketer, and exporter, as the exclusive licence holder for TUTTI™ branded apples in Latin America. Copefrut will start by planting 150 hectares of TUTTI™ apples in Chile, marking the first TUTTI™ licence outside of Europe since its launch in February 2023. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/g4tXdNg6

We’re pleased to share that for the 2024 apples season we’ve increased returns to our Aotearoa New Zealand apple growers. Returns for our premium ENVY™ and JAZZ™ apple brands are the highest for a number of seasons, delivering over $124 million back to growers. This reflects our investment in building consumer demand for our premium brands, supported by a world-class value chain and a fantastic team. We’re proud to be part of A Lighter Touch (New Zealand)'s programme, which is changing how we grow crops and helping Aotearoa New Zealand become a top choice for sustainably produced food worldwide. This programme is moving away from using chemicals to manage pests and instead focuses on natural methods to protect crops. A huge thank you to Haumoana School's passionate and knowledgeable Garden to Table Charitable Trust students, teachers and volunteers for hosting some of our T&G whānau last Friday. Sharing our green-thumbed knowledge with Aotearoa’s tamariki is something we love doing and our T&G team and independent growers have been fortunate to visit local primary schools to share tips and techniques and provide an insight into what it’s like working on orchards and farms across the country.
