How to adopt a trend without getting lost in the crowd! 🔽 Protein is proliferating every category in grocery. New launches with “high-protein” claims hit the shelves every day. It’s great for meeting consumer demand but it’s also creating a sea of sameness. If you’re jumping on a trend, here’s how to do it without blending in: 1️⃣ What’s YOUR take? Trends work when they fit your brand’s story. What makes your version unique? Make the trend yours—don’t just jump in... 2️⃣ How will you stand out? A “protein-packed” claim isn’t enough. Think about: Visuals: What makes it pop on the shelf? Messaging: What’s the promise beyond protein? Relevance: Does this amplify your USP or feel forced? Trends should still be cohesive for your brand, not incoherent. It’s not about joining the crowd—it’s about standing out. What do you think of the protein bandwagon? Are you getting real feedback or just noise? You’re working on your latest project, and the internal feedback is rolling in. And rolling in. Sound familiar? But here’s the real question—are you listening to your consumers, or just stuck in the echo chamber? I've seen it time and time again—brands that think they know what their audience wants, but skip the step of actually asking. One simple test can save not only wasted money but precious wasted time. It’s like asking for directions instead of wandering around hoping for the best! Here are a few things to consider: - Is your messaging landing the way you think it is? - Are you speaking to the right pain points—or assuming them? - Do your visuals inspire, or confuse? Remember, gathering feedback early on saves you from costly mistakes down the line. Want to learn more about how to put the power of consumer feedback to work for you? Let’s chat.

I have a strong opinion about this 👇 I think marketers can be too reliant on looking at numbers And don’t spend enough time understanding shoppers It’s easy to get stuck in a data routine Checking dashboards daily Weekly report meetings But to what end? Here are 3 easy ways to properly leverage data points And actually collect more actionable ideas about your audience This post is proudly sponsored by Stickybeak

AI won’t replace marketers But marketers who use AI might replace those that don’t. We’re all talking about AI these days—and for good reason. From creative copy to customer segmentation, AI is reshaping how we think about marketing. But here’s the kicker: AI isn’t here to take your job - it’s here to amplify what you do best. 🎯 The real magic happens when you combine human intuition with AI’s ability to analyse data at scale. Here’s how I’m seeing the smart use of AI elevate marketing: - Personalisation at scale AI helps us create tailored experiences for thousands of customers without losing that personal touch. - Faster decision-making With AI-powered insights, we’re not waiting weeks for reports. Quick, actionable data and insights are in our hands in real time (Stickybeak is great at this btw 😉). - Creative freedom Let AI handle the mundane so you can focus on the big ideas that truly move the needle. What I love most is that AI is a tool—it doesn’t replace the strategy or the heart of what we do. The best marketers will use AI to push boundaries, not just follow trends. Are you experimenting with AI in your marketing? How’s it going so far? Let me know below!
