About us
Southpark Group, headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand, is a vertically integrated property business which is strategically positioned in the market to exploit emerging opportunities across multiple segments of the property industry. The Southpark Group commenced business more than 35 years ago and has a significant history in property acquisition, land development, design, build and leaseback, and more recently, residential development. It has a successful track record with activities ranging from more complex brownfield sites to greenfield sites, and has completed over 60 projects. The origins of the business trace back decades to the acquisition of large tracks of industrial land close to major transport corridors and the subsequent development of these sites into their highest and best use. This strategic plan has resulted in the development of a large portfolio of outstanding industrial properties in highly sought-after locations across Auckland, and Christchurch. In addition, the Group companies include a Utilities Company supplying water and power, a new Estate development up north in Te Arai, Treetops Lodge & Estate in Rotorua and the award winning master planned community of Kensington Park in Orewa and most recently, Kinloch Manor & Villas, the only Jack Nicklaus signature designed golf course in New Zealand. The Southpark Group is pleased to welcome the first of the Sime Darby Motor Group (NZ) Ltd development projects into Waterloo Business Park!
On Monday, TWL was the first of our businesses to open its doors to customers at our new Sime Darby Commercial hub in Christchurch. This large development project at Waterloo Park began in early 2023 and has delivered brand new, purpose-built facilities for our TWL, Volvo Trucks New Zealand, Truckstops, Hyster New Zealand businesses and South Island Distribution Centre. As teams settle into their new premises over the coming weeks and months, we look forward to sharing our excitement around this major investment with customers and friends.
