Nurse Maude provides community and acute nursing and homecare throughout Canterbury and Care Coordination in Christchurch and Wellington as well as inpatient care in the Nurse Maude Hospice and Hospital. Working in partnership with others in developing and implementing new services and projects to advance community, nursing and hospice palliative care is what makes Nurse Maude a relevant, dynamic and innovative force in the health sector. With more than 1200 staff and a diverse range of services and support Nurse Maude continues to lead the way in community care.

We are pleased to announce that Nurse Maude has been contracted by the Nursing Council of New Zealand as the national provider of new Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) for internationally qualified nurses, replacing the current competence assessment programmes. We are delighted to be partnering with the Nursing Council of New Zealand, as well as the University of Canterbury; and appreciate the support from our colleagues at Adelaide Health Simulation, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Adelaide and Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists RANZCOG in Melbourne, Australia as we establish our centre.
