🔹The new digitized system will be used to determine disability The transition from the "medical model" to the "social model" for determining disability is underway in Uzbekistan. 🚀 What's New? 📍 Tashkent city and Navoi region will pioneer a new system for assessing the functionality of older persons, expanding to all regions by September 1, 2025. 🔄 Key Changes: 1. ⛔️ Current treatment periods are replaced by illness-specific periods. 2. 📜 Expert recommendations for profession, education, sports, and temporary incapacity extensions are no longer required. 3. 🏥 Disability assessments will no longer rely solely on medical documents by district commissions. 4. 💻 Electronic assessments of health and functionality will determine disability status. 5. 🏢 Specialized expert commissions are abolished; inter-district and district commissions take over. Stay tuned for more updates on this significant development! #disability #inclusion #inson #NASP #social_protection
