For all the new followers or recent travelers, who try to find the donate button on our website; it is a lot of money to arrange that kind of software to make it safe for a little NGO. So we share here our bank information and #GlobalGiving information in one picture. 😀 When you have special wishes, you can talk to Pendaeli Amos before you make your contribution.

DHF’s focus is on empowering women and youth in the area of business skills and opportunities around their scope and consult access to credit opportunities, participation in various activities that help in environmental conservation, adoption of eco-friendly energy resources, pursuit of clean water for all, providing support mechanisms to facilitate educational and medical materials to the needy in society. We also train the community on strategic livestock and agricultural management as a means for bringing economic relief in order to minimize threats, malnutrition and poverty and act as an advisory consultative body on matters affecting women, youth, children and community at large. DHF philosophizes on the idea that many problems facing our communities will be successfully solved by community members themselves, thus their empowerment is crucial in achieving this milestone. Our focus also galvanizes the identification of problems facing people through need assessment and design of good techniques of conveying information directly to the audience. This will foster good co-operation in helping us tackle the challenges at hand in a more humane way.

Hi dear donors and friends. It is always difficult to say no. Parents come to us and ask if we can help, but we only can if you support us. Helping children trough their school to graduation is a long time to commit too. Thats why we have only 1 young child on focus a this time, but after 164 days on GG we still have to tell Haytham, he can't go to primary school next year. It is about $250.- a year, for schoolfees, a uniform, schoes, books, supplies and schoolmeals. Challenge Haytham is a happy child of 5 years old, in good health and now in kindergarten school. Haytham hopes to join primary school in January, 2025 and then will start in Grade 1/ Standard I. His mother and father are separated and the father is remarried, so the young mother has to take care of Haytham alone. He has no brothers or sisters. Solution We want to support Haytham with his school fees and school supply. It is only through your good support will make the child stay in school for studying. The current income of the mother is supporting child with food and paying their house rent, but it is not enough. If you want to follow his development in time, we can provide some material during the year.

Hi dear friends, the student farmer who are joining the compost manure course have worked hard to make the compost heap. Different layers of organic material, soil, manure and sand are put on top of each other and watered in between. Now we let nature do its work and we will mix it every 2-3 weeks until the compost mulch is ready to be used on the farmland. That will be in a couple of months. We are thinking about a demonstration field for corn and beans planting, to show the students and other people how compost will improve the soil. F.e. by looking into the soil to see the rootgrowth and activated biology in the soil. We have received more more funding to realize more soil education. There is a lot of interest in the results of our work, which you can support too, by connecting or making a small donation to this project. ^PdL

Hi Dear donors and friends. We are waiting for the results of the activities in #Tanzania in the project '100 Health & Hygiene Kits for Tanzanian families.' With the money donated we gonna provide an education lesson on personal girls hygiene and hand out re-usable sanitary pads at a school. 😃 We saw on Global Giving that 2 fundraisers had added one of our projects to their fundraising list. We are grateful for that. 🥰 Looking forward to welcome our 100st follower on LinkedIn in the next week. 🙏 Giving Thuesday on #GlobalGiving is on 3 december, so another project in the spotlight: Food Aid and School Supplies. This one of our first projects, helping people in need with food, but nowadays schoolprojects are a common combination. Hungry kids can't learn anything, so thanks for last months big donation to the private school we helped organizing. They need books, paper and pencils; a laptop is also handy when internet is available; the world comes into the classroom. The project' Send 10 children to school' is in need of funds for next year; 5 or more kids have asked for help, see Haythams micro project. Lets see of this blog a nice way is to inform you all. ^PdL
