On November 27, 2024, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud officially inaugurated the Riyadh Metro. The first three lines, Red Line 1, Green Line 2, and Purple Line 4, are set to begin operations on December 1, 2024, with the remaining lines expected by mid-2025. The Riyadh driverless Metro is one of the most ambitious public transport projects I’ve had the privilege to witness. Spanning 176 kilometers 🚄, with six driverless lines  and 84 stations this system is set to transform the daily lives of over 8 million residents 🚉,. It’s incredible to see how this project supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, reducing car dependency and creating a more connected, sustainable city. At Passengera, we’ve been honored to contribute to this vision by delivering a complete Wi-Fi connectivity with seamless authentication solution. Our technology ensures passengers can stay connected throughout their journey 🛤️, whether they’re in a train or at a station. Beyond connectivity, we’ve introduced a monetization platform that offers personalized data packages and targeted advertisements, bringing to the service provider monetisation opportunities 🎯. What might be one of the most fascinating things is the metro’s commitment to sustainability ⚡ . With solar panels supplying 20% of the energy for key systems, it’s a reminder of how innovation can align with environmental goals while making a city more attractive to both residents and visitors. 🌍 A Successful Saudi Rail Expo in Riyadh 🌍  This week at the Saudi Rail Expo in Riyadh was truly inspiring!  🚆 We had the pleasure of meeting our customers and partners in the region, strengthening relationships that are key to our shared success.  ✨ We proudly introduced our seamless connectivity solution with Starlink, in partnership with The Clarus Networks Group, which received tremendous interest and positive feedback.  🚇 It was exciting to witness the ongoing preparations for the launch of the Riyadh Metro, the largest metro project to date in the region, where we are delivering cutting-edge seamless WiFi connectivity.  🤝 We were also honored to meet Pavel Kafka, the Czech Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and colleagues from CzechTrade, whose visit emphasized the strong collaboration between our countries.  Saudi Arabia is a region of immense potential, and we are thrilled to be part of its transformation.
