The Interventional Pain Academy – IPA was created to continuously fulfill the interests of interventional pain physicians in their needs and demands for high quality education. A platform where they can share information in the form of open professional communication and mutual discussion with the aim of professional enrichment. Reach out to doctors who are dedicated to providing health care and services in the field of interventional pain management. To connect doctors from this field, especially in the region of Central Europe. Doctors who work in different environments. In the premises of private ambulatory surgical centers, algesiology, orthopedic, anesthesiology clinics, as well as doctors working in hospital departments. Among the professional guarantors of the IPA, thanks to the founder of the IPA MUDr. Robert Rapčan, they find world leaders and personalities of interventional algesiology whose professional opinions and experience from clinical practice indicate the direction of the entire field. These personalities invite all physicians who practice interventional pain management to join our rapidly growing educational institution and benefit from its continued support. The purpouse of the IPA is also to motivate doctors to constantly strive for excellence in their field, participate in educational programs, participate in publications, certification and medical advocacy of our procedures. Interventional pain management techniques are minimally invasive procedures. The basic procedure is percutaneous precise placement of the needle. With subsequent application of drugs to target areas, or ablation of targeted nerves. It also includes some surgical techniques, such as laser or endoscopic discectomy, intrathecal infusion pumps, and spinal cord stimulators, to diagnose and manage chronic, persistent, or intractable pain. The IPA also aims to promote the development and practice of safe, high-quality yet cost-effective interventional pain management.

An inspiring experiences during my recent scientific journey in Warsaw. In this experience, I was invited by the developers of a 7star microscopic endoscope who created this technique that will be a game changer in diagnosing and treating pain through interventional radiology. This endoscope is so precise that it can be inserted into a needle, allowing us to visualize the nerve causing the pain and diagnose its nature in eyes 👀. Using interventional radiology guidance, we can accurately target any nerve in the body to treat it with either radiofrequency or cryoablation. We can even observe the nerve as it is being treated in real-time, offering a “live” view of the process while simultaneously guided by ultrasound, CT, or fluoroscopic imaging. This, in the near future will involve integrating artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, and the latest nanotechnology advancements. We engaged in discussions with scientists from around the world and brainstormed new ideas for future research, which we aim to pursue, God willing. I am deeply grateful to every mind and hand contributing to the advancement of science and the healing of people. I am also thankful for my father’s constant advice: to always strive to be a developer of knowledge and science, not merely a recipient. This, he said, is the first step toward the renaissance of our nations and poeple.
