Three Mushketeers is a Finnish startup specializing in innovative ingredients for plant-based foods. We upcycle mushroom cultivation by-products into high-value ingredients that have been proven to enhance umami flavors and suppress legume off-flavors. We are actively looking for: - Food industry partners to test our product in their applications. - €200,000 pre-seed funding to be able to serve our first clients.   • Wrapping up the year 2024! 🎉 From launching 8 industrial trials (with 3 more kicking off early next year) to securing €60K in Tempo funding from Business Finland, expanding our team with Aizea, and joining the Tech Nordic Advocates Accelerator, 2024 has been a busy and rewarding year. We’ve also pitched, networked, and collaborated at events like Arctic15 , TONIC Summit, Slush, and the Nordic Fe:male Invest Summit, all while preparing for an exciting 2025: onboarding our first customer, starting a pre-seed round, and launching a new product line.     🗨️ "We want to set an example that it is possible to become an entrepreneur from the academic community." The story of the Three Mushketeers started in the University of Helsinki, where the founding members met each other. The trio then participated in an idea accelerator called Ruokis arranged by Helsinki Think Company where they started to develop a business idea related to food innovation. The use of scientific expertise in developing the business was important to the entrepreneurs from the start. The company was set up, and later the group received a grant from University of Helsinki Funds and Think Company Fund, to take their innovation even further. Now the company is looking forward to the community event ‘Been There, Done That’! The founders want to be able to encourage and inspire others with their business ideas. You can hear more about their story this Thursday on 31st of October from 5pm at Helsinki Think Company in Think Corner. In addition to Three Mushketeers, you will hear about the alumni founders from Y4 Works and Sustashift! Silloinen kolmikko osallistui Helsinki Think Companyn Ruokis-ideakiihdyttämöön, jossa he alkoivat kehittää yritysideaa liittyen ruokainnovaatioon. Tieteellisen osaamisen hyödyntäminen yrityksen kehittämisessä oli yrittäjille alusta alkaen tärkeää. Yritys laitettiin pystyyn, ja myöhemmin he saivat yliopiston rahastolta sekä Think Company Fundilta apurahan, joiden avulla he pystyivät kehittämään innovaatiota entistä pidemmälle. Nyt yrityksessä odotetaan innoissaan Been There, Done That -yhteisötapahtumaa! Yrityksen perustajat haluavat päästä rohkaisemaan ja inspiroimaan muita heidän yritysideoissaan. Pääset tutustumaan heidän tarinaan tänä torstaina 31.10. klo 17 alkaen Tiedekulman toisessa kerroksessa Helsinki Think Companyn toimitiloissa.   • Exciting Team Update! 🎉 Throughout our journey, we’ve occasionally heard suggestions that our founding team might benefit from a business expert—someone who could help us build and grow even further. For a long time, we waited for the perfect fit. This spring, we met Aizea, and after a “dating period” over the summer, it became clear that we had found the perfect match. We’re thrilled to announce that our team of three Musketeers, Emma, Emmi and Ida, has officially become four—with Aizea as our very own D'Artagnan 😉 Now, with our crew complete, we can’t wait to see where this journey takes us next! 🛸

  • Our new Tempo project has officially kicked off, thanks to a generous grant from Business Finland! The primary goal of this project is to pave the way for our internationalization efforts, with a special focus on pilots and networks across the Nordic countries, especially Sweden 🌍🤝 Currently, we are piloting right here in Finland, but our eyes are already set on expanding our reach. We are actively seeking contacts and potential piloting partners abroad to join us on this exciting journey. If you are interested in collaboration or know someone who might be, please don't hesitate to reach out!
