𝑳𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝑭𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝑫𝒂𝒚 🫸 🫷 💙 Our team spreads across Finland and beyond, and since we mostly work remotely, it was a special chance to connect, bond, and make lasting memories. 💙 We spent the day listening, sharing, creating art, playing games, and laughing together. We also shared appreciation notes for our colleagues – a great way to show support and gratitude. A big thanks to our co-founder Bambi Dang for her little 'Appreciation Note' project that made the session even more special, and to Peter Vesterbacka for sharing a clear vision in 2025 that continues to inspire us. 💙 The day ended with a shared dinner, leaving us recharged and more connected. A huge thank you to our HR team Astha Joshi & Maiju Helenius for organizing such an amazing event! Our mission is to help students thrive in Finland by providing access to real-world experiences—and Slush is a perfect example. 💙 This year, our co-founders Peter Vesterbacka and Bambi Dang brought our young students to Slush to show them the endless opportunities waiting for them 🤩 Slush offers students a chance to step into the professional world early. They meet inspiring leaders, gain hands-on experience, and start building networks that can shape their futures. 💙 Our alumni also played an important role this year. Anna Nguyen, a passionate Slush volunteer for years, stepped up as a team lead. Meanwhile, Dinh Minh joined as a dedicated volunteer info team member, showcasing the power of teamwork and enthusiasm. 💙 We are so proud to support our students at every stage of their journey. Slush 2024 was again magnificient!! 🤩 Best and biggest startup event on the planet! Who says there's nothing in Finland in November? 🌨 Snow, dark, cold, slush on the ground and WE ARE PROUD of that, as Miki Kuusi from Wolt shared in his story when he and Peter Vesterbacka and the team co-founded Slush in 2008 in order to change Finland's young people attitude towards entrepreneurship. Little did they know that the original 300-people event back in 2008 now turned into the biggest and best startup event on the planet with 13000 attendees (pre-pandemic was 25000 attendees). Slush 2024 brings together 5,500 startups and 3,300 investors in Helsinki in November to help and create the next generation of founders. For the third consecutive year, Slush stands as the largest gathering of venture capital in the world, with over $3 trillion in assets under management under one roof. This year I was heading a delegation including Finest Future students and principals and partners and Finland startups and startup ecosystem players. We had a great time! 🙏🏽❤️ Especially for young students, it's important for them to see what are the opportunities out there. They will grow up building the next big things that will change the world for better! 🤩 Even if you are not a startup, Slush is your super-duper-dose of inspiration and innovation and ideas and connection and everything. ✨ Finest Future takes on Slush 2024 ✨ On the first day of Slush 2024, Finest Future had the incredible opportunity to tour and explore the world’s leading startup and tech event. 💙 This year was extra special as we brought our students along, giving them a glimpse of the amazing opportunities Finland has to offer. 💙 Alongside our students, we were joined by our partner school’s principal, Mari Pirkkala from Rautalampi High School, as well as the fantastic AliceAI Learning Oy team and our dear friends. Together, we shared ideas, bonded over inspiring moments, and learned so much from this dynamic event. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible delegation—students, partners, the Alice AI team, and friends—for making this journey so memorable. Your energy and enthusiasm made this experience truly unforgettable. 💙 And of course, a big thanks to our visionary founders, Peter Vesterbacka and Bambi Dang, for making it all possible.
