Just announced, Hilton to Expand Luxury Portfolio with Conrad Los Cabos. ‘Hilton announced it had signed with Parks Hospitality Holdings for a Conrad Hotels & Resorts hotel in Los Cabos, expected to open in 2027. The new resort will take inspiration from the natural landscape and will be designed by Legorreta Architects. It will feature 175 rooms and suites, including 111 with over 500 square feet of indoor living space, and an outdoor area with private plunge pools. The award was presented to Rodrigo Esponda Cascajares, Managing Director of the Los Cabos Tourism Board during a ceremony held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York on December 11, 2024. “This recognition places Los Cabos among other top national and international destinations and reflects the collective effort of the local community, including hoteliers, tour operators, and government authorities, who have worked tirelessly to position the region as a premier tourist destination,” said Rodrigo Esponda. Meet Juan Carlos Del Rio, managing partner of EPIC DMC Mexico, one of the largest destination management companies in Los Cabos. In 2006, Juan Carlos Del Rio already had 24 years of experience working in sales and marketing for hotel chains when he co-founded the award-winning destination management company (DMC), EPIC, in Los Cabos.
