They now have access to free health consultations from a team of over 500 medical professionals and specialists from leading institutions - contributing towards a positive impact for Thai students nationwide. “I recognized the alignment of our goals to improve students' lives. I want students in other schools to have the same opportunities as those in better contexts, which motivated me to work with the Foundation to expand this program to other schools.” Through a collaborative effort, the PAO of Prachinburi and Teach For Thailand are recruiting six Fellows to support three schools under the PAO for the upcoming semester. With partial funding from the PAO and dedicated training and guidance from Teach For Thailand, these Fellows will contribute to creating a positive, lasting impact on students’ educational experiences. The “Future Ready” initiative invites students and educators to experience real-world working environments and gain insights into practical and critical skills for future careers. This visit provided valuable exposure to the current job market, essential career skills, and the realities of working in an industrial environment. "Many students experience stress and depression from their studies. This shouldn’t happen. Students need freedom beyond the classroom. If their mental health in the classroom isn't good, they won't enjoy learning." Seeing her students and colleagues at school under stress, "Kru Anna" - Hasna Arman, a Fellow cohort 10 founded the "Colour of Nature" club, a space for teachers and students to unwind and relieve stress. In light of World Mental Health Day, Teach For Thailand joins the movement to raise awareness and encourage all parties to recognize the importance of good mental health in schools.
