    Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) PepsiCo Thailand in collaboration with Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) proudly organized an inspiring field trip to Japan as part of the “One Suntory Mizuiku Program 2024”. From October 28 to 31, student leaders and teachers from two winning schools of the Mizuiku Water Model School contest — Petch Pittayakom School in Chonburi and Chumchon Borisat Namtan Tawanaok School in Rayong — to explore the Mizuiku program at its origin.   During the study tour in Japan, representatives from both winning schools shared their insights and showcased their water conservation projects to executives from Suntory’s Sustainability Division. They also took part in the “Outdoor School of Forest and Water”, a nature-based educational program in forest land around Minami Alps, a UNESCO Eco Park since 2014. Here, they learned about the water cycle, local plant species, and forest wildlife. At the Suntory Hakushu Water Plant, located in a lush forest, the students observed eco-friendly manufacturing processes for bottled natural mineral water sourced from the Minami Alps, gaining valuable knowledge on efficient water resource management. The student leaders and teachers also enriched their experience by visiting Suntory Hall and popular Tokyo landmarks such as Asakusa Temple and Tokyo Skytree.   We really hope that this field trip will bring joy and smiles to the students, while also helping to expand their knowledge about water conservation and the preservation of valuable natural resources, which they can pass on to future generations, create positive and sustainable changes for society and the environment.   #SuntoryPepsiCoThailand #OneSuntory #Mizuiku #Sustainability #WaterConservation #GrowingForGood

We are thrilled to break ground on our state-of-the-art expansion project at the Saraburi Plant, marking a major milestone in our journey to enhancing diverse product portfolios, increasing production capacity to meet growing consumer demand, and driving sustainable growth. The project is aligned with Suntory PepsiCo Thailand’s Must Win strategy, insulated long-term by efficient operations and fostering sustainability. This new investment includes the construction of additional bays and essential utilities, supporting our strategy for volume growth, product transformation, and sustainable profitability. We are targeting LEED Silver certification, reflecting our commitment to energy efficiency and environmental impact. The facility will include reclaimed water systems, energy-efficient machinery, a solar roof, and innovative energy management systems. Utilizing advanced technology, such as high-speed dry preform decontamination, zero water consumption, and low-pressure recycled PET bottle blowing, we aim to maximize energy savings.     The PRO-Thailand Network, represented by Wipawan Tasanapreechachai, proudly participated in the "PackBack in Action: The Drive for EPR in Thailand" event at SUSTAINABILITY EXPO 2024. The event underscored the strong public-private collaboration driving the implementation of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), with the launch of "PROVE" (Producer Responsibility Organization Voluntary Effort), a pivotal initiative aimed at developing an effective Producer Responsibility organization (PRO) model for sustainable packaging management in Thailand. Through PROVE, the PRO-Thailand Network will join forces with industry alliances, including Thailand PPP Plastic, Aluminum Loop, and PackBack by TIPMSE. Together, we will leverage our collective expertise and strengths by functioning as a PRO sandbox to gather valuable insights that will be essential for EPR law development in Thailand. Ultimately, a well-developed PRO model will facilitate EPR law implementation and drive systemic change towards a circular economy, benefiting both the environment and society. ----------------------------------------------- The PRO-Thailand Network, also known as Packaging Recovery Organization Thailand Network, is a voluntary collaboration among the private sector established since 2019, aiming to encourage the cooperation of all stakeholders involved in post-consumer packaging management, in promoting the collection for recycling or upcycling by implementing the EPR tools, leading to a sustainable circular economy in Thailand.     Suntory PepsiCo Beverage (Thailand) and Suntory Beverage & Food (Thailand) united for the “One Suntory Helping Hands 2024” activities held for the second consecutive year. This year, we have raised almost 770,000 THB from the “One Suntory Bring & Buy” fundraising event in August. All proceeds were used to purchase water storage tanks, 2-in-1 water machines (cooler and filter), educational supplies and other essential items for Wat Sri Maha Phot School in Ang Thong province, Wat Chang School in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province and the schools in need in Rayong, Chonburi and Saraburi province.    Over 30 volunteers from both companies joined activities with the students at Wat Sri Maha Phot School to renovate the canteen by painting, cleaning, and replacing old tables and chairs as well as to set up and renovate vegetable plots for students so that they can learn about agriculture and grow organic vegetables for their lunches, thereby reducing the school's expenses on ingredients. On this occasion, volunteers also conducted waste segregation and water conservation knowledge sharing to the students at Wat Si Maha Phot School and Wat Chang School. This activity not only brought joy and memorable experiences to the students and the volunteers but also reinforced our corporate value of "Giving Back to Society".
