Allianz World Run Thailand series 2024 concluded with over 5,400 runners joining our signature event of the year! 🇹🇭 This past weekend, we have celebrated the 5th edition of Thailand’s Allianz World Run held at the old capital city of Thailand – Ayutthaya. The race this year was so special thanks to the close collaboration with Ayutthaya local authority and the community that allowing us to arrange the running course right at the UNESCO’s world heritage sites. Saturday afternoon dedicated to the 3K family run exclusively for Allianz Ayudhya friends and families, following by the mini concert by Thailand’s famous female singer Waruntorn Ink Paonil, closing the night with happiness prior the big race next day. Sunday early morning was the moment for experienced runners! 21.1K Half Marathon kicked start at 4.30 am with a limited-edition “elephant pant” prepared for all the finishers instead of a typical t-shirt, making this year’s race even more special and memorable. Apart from the popular 10K, we also introduced 5K as the new addition for newbies and those who preferred a shorter course. Allianz Ayudhya World Run Thailand Series 2024 also emphasizes an eco-friendly approach with its "Zero Waste to Landfill" initiative, making it a waste-free event. Our event got even bigger every year! We are very glad that the event has created opportunity for family to spend quality time together and also encouraged our customers and public to stay healthy. We are proud of all the dedication from our employees which have made this year another great one! And we'll remain strong and resilient as we embark on the soon-to-come 2025 journey!

This week, Allianz Ayudhya has the priviledge to welcome Allianz Chief Economist Ludovic Subran to Bangkok, Thailand. Morning session started with the press conference. Ludovic delivered an insightful presentation on key economic trends covering US, European, and China market and its implication to Asia and specifically to Thailand economy. The event concluded successfully with over 60 journalists in attendance with engaging Q&A session. Afternoon event was the Exclusive Economic Forum for our business partners, tied- agents and guests. We are pleased to have Khun Andrew Stotz joining Ludovic as the panel speaker with Khun Banphot Thanapermsuk as the moderator. Apart from the economic trend, afternoon theme focused more on pratical investment strategy under the current economic context and some insight on asset allocation. Both sessions received very positive feedback from the participants and has well positioned Allianz Ayudhya as one of the leading financial service provider with strong expertise. Earlier this week, our Commercial team led by Duanchai Kosonmethakun together with Chief Operations Officer, Ketwana Intrawut representing Allianz Ayudhya General Insurance (AAGI) to give the claim payment of THB 255,166,116 to our customer following a fire incident at the factory. The formal payment took place at the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) with Secretary General Mr. Chuchat Pramunphon presided.
