Techten Planet is an organization that delivers STEM learning materials and tech skills classes to people of all ages.

About us

We are a non-profit in Ghana that actively participates in the ongoing advocacy for STEM education across Ghana and Africa. "We believe that STEM should be a practical, hands-on learning experience, so our organization wants to facilitate the tools, materials, and know-how needed for the actualization and expansion of STEM activities together with other stakeholders across Ghana." By offering a training center that inspires technical thinking and active and hands-on learning of creative thinking and problem-solving skills, we are on our way to handing the needed tools for young people to develop their communities and create opportunities.

  • Thank You For Another Year of Impact. Imagine a world where no young African has to risk their life crossing deserts or the Mediterranean in search of better opportunities. Every year, countless lives are lost in perilous journeys, driven by the simple desire to secure jobs that promise a better life for themselves and their loved ones. At Techten Planet, we believe that no one should have to make such sacrifices. Our mission is clear: to increase job opportunities and equip young Africans with the skills they need to thrive in their communities. As we reflect on 2024, we are proud of our impact. Our programs in Ghana enable students, graduates, and professionals with 21st-century skills in technology and engineering. Through our “Projects That Matter” initiative, students have secured remote jobs and collaborated on innovative solutions to local challenges. Many have paid it forward by sharing their skills with peers, creating a ripple effect of knowledge and opportunity. Despite these successes, we know there is much work to be done.  Challenges such as funding, recruiting volunteers, and building infrastructure remain. Yet, our commitment to providing accessible, affordable education outside traditional systems is stronger than ever. This year has reaffirmed our belief in the power of resilience and community. We are deeply grateful to our partners, donors, and supporters who make this journey possible. Your contributions are the seeds of hope for the next generation. As we look ahead to 2025, we invite you to join us in this mission. You can be part of the solution through donations, volunteering, or partnerships. Together, we can build a future where every young African has the opportunity to succeed right where they are. With gratitude, Oscar Yaw Asamoah President, Techten Planet
