🌸 I believe you. Do you? 🌸 For too long, women have stopped sharing their pain because no one listens—not family, not friends, not even doctors. But here’s the thing: ❗ Menstrual pain that disrupts your life isn’t “normal.” ❗ Saying “it’s just period cramps” dismisses the reality for millions of women with PCOS and Endometriosis. 👉 To women everywhere: Believe in yourself. Trust your body and your pain. Speak up. Advocate for yourself. Don’t stop until someone listens and helps. 👉 To everyone else: Belief starts with YOU. When we listen, validate, and act, we empower women to get the care they deserve. 📣 Let’s break the silence and create a world where no one feels alone in their pain. Together, we can change the narrative. 💬 Will you believe the next woman who says she’s in pain? Let’s talk. #PainPatterns #WomensHealth #PCOS #Endometriosis #Empathy

Pain Patterns - A device that can recognize your pain!
Info
🚨 Do you know that every minute 2 women lose their uterus or their ovaries because of Endometriosis and PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome)? 👋 Hello! I’m Antonia Lomer [https://www.linkedin.com/in/antonia-lomer/] and I am the founder of Pain Patterns. After 8 years of creating purposeful tech innovation solution in the corporate environment and being diagnosticated with PCOS, I am today on a mission to help women track their pain and know when is time to take action for their health. ⏳Today, 2 in 10 women are affected by PCOS and Endometriosis, but because of the late diagnosis, the lack of diagnosis and finally the lack of a cure, half of these women become infertile. 🚺 I use a pain measurement device to collect data on pain, do the analysis and match the pain pattern with PCOS or Endometriosis. This helps both women and medical staff differentiate between menstrual cramps – which are normal and menstrual pain – which is not normal, with the intention to speed up diagnostic. 🎯Having the pain pattern and knowing when there is a significant deviation can enable women to go to the doctor earlier, get diagnosed earlier and benefit from preventive measures, rather than having only the option to react to the illnesses. 💟 Want to join me in my mission and come together to help women stay beautiful on the inside, as well as on the outside? 🪙Donate - https://wemakeit.com/projects/pain-patterns 🎯 Share the Project with your Friends and Network ♻️ And feel free to give me Feedback

🗣️ Did you know that menstrual cramps and menstrual pain are not the same? 🔍 Understanding the difference is crucial for women's health and well-being. 💡 Here's why it matters: ✅Menstrual Cramps: Common and usually manageable discomfort during menstruation. ❌Menstrual Pain: Can indicate underlying health issues like endometriosis or fibroids, requiring medical attention. ♀️ By recognizing the signs early, women can: 🏳️Flag menstrual issues sooner 🕒 🏳️Seek appropriate medical advice 🩺 🏳️Improve overall quality of life ❤️ 📢 Let's break the silence and increase awareness! Share your experiences or thoughts below 👇 and help us create a supportive community. #WomensHealth #MenstrualHealth #Awareness cc:ANTONIA LOMER (安杜林)
About 1.8 billion women menstruate every month, and a significant number experience painful, heavy, abnormal periods—so much so, that we’ve all just chalked it up to being "normal". Many doctors downplay women's symptoms, it’s already a taboo topic to broach… we should just brush it off, right? Wrong. It’s not normal and raising awareness is needed to increase funding, research, and ultimately relief. 🎥 Dr. Nitu Bajekal

🌠 Unlocking the Power of Women’s Health Research: A Missed Opportunity 🔍 Did you know that medical research has long favored men’s health, leaving women’s health issues in the shadows? 🚀 It’s time to change that narrative! 💪 👉 Key Takeaways: 🚺 Gender Bias Persists: For far too long, we’ve treated men and women as interchangeable subjects in medical research. But here’s the catch: diseases affecting women are often underfunded, leaving critical gaps in our understanding. 💵 Investment Pays Off: Even a slight increase in funding for women’s health research could yield staggering returns. 🚀 Let’s advocate for equity in research funding! Share this post and join the conversation. Together, we can bridge the gap and improve health outcomes for everyone. 🌎 - - - With the Pain Patterns project, the aim is not only to offer women more information about PCOS - The Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome and Endometriosis, but also to create a research space where we understand the difference between menstrual cramps and menstrual pain and use this for preventive diagnostic. - - - #WomenInScience #HealthEquity #ResearchMatters

❓Do you know how to differentiate between: 🟢Menstrual Cramps - which are normal 🔃 🔴Menstrual Pain - which are not normal 🤔 Neither did I! And 8️⃣5️⃣% of women can’t 👀 This is how #Pain #Patterns was born. ⁉️Why is this important? 🚨Because Menstrual Pain is a sign from our body that there might be a problem. However, 🚺 our mindset is that Menstrual Pain is something normal and is something we should and we can live with. 🎯 Pain Patterns is here to break this mindset and show that #Menstrual #Pain #is #not #normal and it’s different than menstrual cramps. #PainPatterns #Innovation #Technology #MedTech #FemTech
