Throwback Tuesday – Events 🎉 This Tuesday, we are reflecting on some of the events our LEDCitizens attended this year. From Patrik pitching and participating in a panel with former Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard at Impact Gstaad, to Samuel and Eliot attending the Forum Romand de l’Éclairage in Lausanne, Julian pitching at the Smart City Bern event, and Martin and Yevhen visiting Energy Light Day to gain insights into the industry. This year was especially memorable as we had our first booth ever at the world’s most important lighting fair, Light + Building in Frankfurt – a truly special experience for all of us. Beyond that, our team was also present at the EXPO REAL (Messe München) real estate fair, and we wrapped up the year with Samuel pitching at the SLG Event. It was a fantastic year filled with insightful discussions, valuable new contacts and definitely more than a couple of handshakes. Real estate company SISKA saves CHF 50k annually with LEDCity – achieving a full return on investment within just 1.6 years!💡 In the public parking Eulachpassage in Winterthur, outdated FL lighting operated 24/7 across all five floors. After upgrading to LEDCity's intelligent lighting solution, operating hours were drastically reduced: on highly frequented floors, lighting now runs 15.9 hours less per day, while on less-used floors, it is 19.6 hours less daily! The combination of reduced operating time and improved efficiency with LED technology has delivered impressive results: 🔋 Energy savings: 87% 💰 Amortization time: 1.6 years 🌍 Annual CO₂ reduction: 16 tons This transformation included the installation of 389 energy-efficient light sources, each equipped with sensors for true light-on-demand functionality. In addition to substantial energy savings, SISKA benefits from reduced maintenance costs due to the extended lifespan of LEDCity lighting. Engineering Team visits NOMUS projects in Basel 🏢 There is nothing quite like seeing the tangible results of your hard work - which is why our Engineering team traveled to Basel to explore two of the largest #NOMUS lighting installations. Surrounded by True Swarm Intelligence, the team toured the facilities and experienced firsthand the impact of their individual contributions, whether that was the development of the hardware and software, or their efforts in planning and provisioning. To make the most of the day, the team also enjoyed some fun team-building activities, including designing a stable bridge with just a few sheets of paper and tape, embarking on a Fox Trail through the city of Basel, and, of course, ending the day with a delicious meal to celebrate and recharge.
