As 2024 comes to a close, here's a recap of the 47th World Hospital Congress, which took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Over three days, leaders and decision-makers in the healthcare community shared knowledge and good practices, exchanged new ideas and innovations, and networked with other senior executives. The Congress featured 50+ plenary and parallel sessions; 200+ renowned speakers; 230+ poster presentations; an Innovation Hub featuring 27 solutions to challenges in healthcare settings; industry exhibitors; the IHF Awards 2024 Ceremony and Gala Dinner; and guided hospital visits in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. #IHFRio was co-hosted by the IHF and Federação Brasileira de Hospitais - FBH. In November 2025, we look forward to welcoming you to the 48th edition of the World Hospital Congress, in Geneva, Switzerland ➡️
