We had the pleasure of co-hosting this Impact for Breakfast session with the elea, shining a spotlight on three incredible entrepreneurs tackling youth unemployment in emerging markets. 📞 Zhihan Lee from BagoSphere emphasized the importance of creating a safe space for young people to make mistakes and learn, allowing them to build self-confidence. 💻 Paula Cardenau from Arbusta highlighted how training programs not only transform the participants but also have a ripple effect on their families and communities. 🏗️ Adam Collier form BluLever Education shared how offering structure, guidance, and empathy—rather than pity—has been instrumental to their success. A heartfelt thank you to these three inspiring entrepreneurs for sharing their first-hand experiences with us. And a big thank you to the elea team for making this impactful event possible!
Breakfast with an impact? Yes! Today, we hosted an insightful and collaborative event at our Zurich office that brought together impact entrepreneurs with a fantastic and diverse group of interested guests from the impact ecosystem. As part of the Impact for Breakfast series, this morning was all about creating social impact through building employable skills. The three pioneering elea portfolio ventures from three continents Arbusta, BagoSphere, and BluLever Education shared how they are revolutionizing education, creating stable employment for youth, and in doing so breaking the cycle of poverty. We want to share with you three key takeaways from this morning that are highlighted in the following quotes: “The narratives of blue-collar jobs must be changed to have a higher societal status ” - Adam “Trial and error get you far– even if in the beginning everybody thinks you are crazy” - Paula “People do not only need hard skills – what often matters more is confidence” - Zhihan A heartfelt thank you to Deborah Keller for moderating the event, and our impact entrepreneurs Adam Collier, Paula Cardenau, Zhihan Lee, and to our guests for their valuable contributions in the discussion.

This is why elea invests in impact ventures that offer market-oriented, practical 21st-century skills training for motivated youth from low-income households, creating pathways out of poverty. 📣 Speakers: Paula Cardenau, Co-Founder and Director of Arbusta (Argentina) Adam Collier, Co-founder & Co-CEO at BluLever Education (South Africa) Zhihan Lee, CEO and Co-Founder at BagoSphere (Philippines) Deborah Keller, Head of Impact for Breakfast Elena Torresani, Head of Communications and Partnerships at elea 🎫 Spaces are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot online via Impact for Breakfast: https://lnkd.in/eR8RpwDF
