#Dexter, das OP-Robotersystem von Distalmotion - der Beginn einer neuen Ära in der Allgemein- und Viszeralchirurgie am Artemed Klinikum München Süd. Nach einer intensiven Vorstellungs- und Planungsphase ist am vergangenen Mittwoch, dem 18.12.2024, der #Dexter geliefert und aufgebaut worden. Am Freitag, dem 20.12.2024 haben wir schon mit dem strukturierten, 4-wöchigen Trainingsprogramm in 2 Teams begonnen. Dies ist die großartige Möglichkeit, den beiden Teams die nötigen Fähigkeiten und das Vertrauen im Umgang mit dem #Dexter zu vermitteln. In October, Distalmotion (LSI USA ‘25 Innovator) was granted De Novo approval by the FDA to market the Dexter Surgical Robot for adult inguinal hernia repair. Distalmotion aims to empower robotic surgery by enabling greater access to hospitals, surgeons, and patients across all sites of care, including hospital outpatient departments (HOPDs) and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). With a focus on high-volume procedures, the Dexter Robotic System is designed to meet the needs of these settings. The Dexter Surgical Robot is CE approved for general surgery, urology, and gynecology, and has been used to treat over 1,300 patients across France, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
