To officially conclude the workshops, RNOSC Secretary General, Mr. Joseph Kajangwe, delivered his remarks: “Every sport needs visionary leadership to thrive. Building on what you’ve learned here, I encourage you to be humble, value your subordinates, and learn from your mistakes.' “Remember, Badminton is an Olympic sport. You’ve heard about Olympic Programmes that could benefit you—these require strong leadership, effective communication, and strong administrative policies,” added the Secretary General of RNOSC, Joseph Kajangwe.

During the closing ceremony, RBSF President Muhama Alphonse emphasized the value of such workshops: “Conflict must be addressed but, more importantly, avoided at all costs. Our goal is not to return here for conflict resolution but to attend more workshops that foster growth and collaboration,” said the Rwanda Badminton Sports Federation president.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, GS Ririma's headmaster and participants’ representative, Dushimiyimana Ildephonse, shared his perspective on the workshop’s key takeaways: “I encourage fellow attendees to lead by example, practice diligence, and be selfless to avoid conflict."

The workshop featured engaging and participatory discussions navigating around: 🏸Introduction to Olympic Movement, RNOSC Programmes and Administrative Communication Protocols 🏸Preventing and Resolving Internal Conflicts Within Federations 🏸Achievements, Challenges, and Plans of the Rwanda Badminton Sports Federation for advancing Badminton in Rwanda.

Today, we concluded our workshop series for new member Federations with a session for the Rwanda Badminton Sports Federation (RBSF). The workshop brought together 25 participants, including RBSF Executive Committee members and representatives from badminton clubs and schools across the country. These sessions focused on enhancing leadership and management capacities at both Federation and Club levels.

Sports thrive on structure and rules, and leaders ensure they are upheld. We remain committed to supporting the development of Netball and its leadership in Rwanda.”

At the workshop’s conclusion, RNA Secretary General, Mr. Jean Pierre Habimana, shared his reflections: “This session gave us invaluable insights into conflict resolution, which we’re eager to apply. We also explored exciting initiatives, such as launching a National Netball Championship for Primary and Secondary Schools.” “These workshops are crucial for overcoming challenges and refining strategies for growth,” he added.
