Taipei Entrepreneurs Hub: 2024 Recap 🌏   This year, Taipei Entrepreneurs Hub (TEH) connected with startup ecosystems in Manila, Seoul, Fukuoka. TEH built bridges across borders. Take a look at what we’ve achieved:   🚀 Global Collaborations   - TEH signed MOUs with Seoul Business Agency (SBA) (South Korea), KAIA (사)초기투자액셀러레이터협회 (South Korea), GIA (South Korea), TechShake (Philippines), ThinkZone Ventures (Vietnam) to encourage cross border exchange. - Manila, Philippines: Together with MECO, DTI Philippines, Talent Taiwan, BDO Unibank, TechShake, 917Ventures, and Common Ground, we exchanged knowledge between Taipei and Southeast Asia. - Seoul, South Korea: Partnering with TIPS Town, Seoul Business Agency (SBA), and KAIA, we invited 6 AI professionals to Taipei. - Fukuoka, Japan: Collaborated with Fukuoka Growth Next (FGN) and The Company TEH hosted over 30 Japanese companies and media outlets, providing a platform for Japanese startups to connect, exchange ideas with Taiwan ecosystem players.  - ASUS 華碩, SYSTEX 精誠資訊股份有限公司, and Hive Ventures were invited as judges for TEH’s AI Demo Day - A total of 6 international AI finalists made their way to Taipei in October 2024 - TEH partnered with Mosaic Venture Lab, International Talent Taiwan Office, IAPS 陽明交大產業加速器, Startup Terrace, 886 Studios, SparkLabs Taiwan and more to share with the finalists more about Taipei’s opportunities.  - TEH AI Demo Day featured Sang-hoon Jin ( TAP ANGEL PARTNERS ), Arthur Huang( GrandTech Cloud Services 昕奇雲端 ), Yan LEE (Hive Ventures), and Cami Lu ( 華陽創投集團 Sunsino Venture Group).   Through our initiatives, we’ve invited over 16 AI talents to Taipei, we also featured the ‘Invest and Start a Business in Taipei’ at InnoVEX. 🌟 Taipei Site Visit Recap 🌟 The #AI+ Taipei Startup Demo Day event not only provided a platform for international startups to showcase their innovations but also offered opportunities to explore Taipei's rich entrepreneurial resources, such as co-working spaces, startup hubs, and tech parks. These spaces aim to create a welcoming environment for international talent to launch their ventures in Taipei. Taipei Entrepreneurs Hub led international startups on a visit to T3 Coworking Space and JustCo, two coworking spaces in Taipei. These English-friendly co-working environments offer abundant resources to international startups, including venture capital networks, physical office space, and matchmaking events, helping international startups establish their presence in Taipei. 🛩️🇹🇼 優化生技 and MedySapiens, Inc., two international #MedTech AI startups toured the Taipei Biotech Park 台北生技園區 and Instant NanoBiosensors in the Nangang Biotech Park. These companies have already collaborated with several major hospitals in Taipei, such as Veterans General Hospital and Hsiao Chuan Hospital, and expressed a desire to establish more business relationships in Taiwan.
