Here's a quick recap of what went down at our first-ever Innovation Day! Innovation Day celebrates Singapore's digital government transformation, bringing together groundbreaking ideas and prototypes that showcase the nation's commitment to innovation. A highlight of Innovation Day was the Prompt Royale 2024 Finale. Prompt Royale is Singapore's first whole-of-government prompt engineering competition. Finalists Ananya Balehithlu from Housing & Development Board, Naim Zahari from Singapore Civil Defence Force, and Rachel Tiang from Ministry of Manpower battle it out live on stage to solve tasks like building chatbots and designing websites, all within minutes. The finalists demonstrated AI's transformative power, and Naim and Rachel proved that anyone could master prompt engineering even without technical experience! This edition was also our most extensive prompt royale run yet, with over 1,040 participants across 75 agencies. The event underscores GovTech's commitment to empowering public officers with the tools to thrive in an AI-driven future. We can't wait to see how else AI might transform our digital government!
